ndp_suck Posted May 5, 2007 Report Posted May 5, 2007 I can't believe Manitoba might end up with another ndp skumbag government! Are people that voted for them that misguided? There is so much wrong with the ndp its hard to know where to start. I can only hope all the people who voted ndp lost their shirts with Crocus. For all the rest who did not vote for them and lost their shirts, I hope you rally anyone you know that is of voting age and help get rid of these lying thieves. Lets see: Wasted the rainy day fund Robbed crown corps of their surpluses to pay for their stupid mistakes Did NOTHING till the election was called, then promised the world...AGAIN Make promises they WILL not keep, just like the last 2 times I could go on and on and on. Lets get to healthcare, because this was their biggest lies from the last 2 elections. I wonder if the misguided people who are thinking about voting for the lying ndp remember their promises about ending hallway medicine? Mmm, maybe not. Well I've been to a number of hospitals in the past 2 ndp terms. The halls are full of people, all the time. If they need another bed on the ward they have to send someone home that SHOULD be in the hospital. Try getting a MRI or CT within 3 months. Try seeing a specialist within 3 months. My Uncle has cancer and was booked for surgery. It took 72 days for his appointment. The morning of his appointment he had to sit in the general waiting room wearing a nightgown for 2 hours. They then told him there was a problem having his surgery that day and sent him home. His surgery was then rebooked 18 days later. Again he was there early, sat in the waiting room for almost 3 hours. Again they told him he was not going to have his surgery that day. Another 14 days went by, he didn't get bumped this time. But after surgery was told the cancer had spread so much they couldn't remove all of it. Good luck, now go home. My mother who has Alzheimer's contracted pneumonia. She laid in the hallway for 4 days. She then got into a room on the ward. That lasted for 6 hours before they moved her out of the room and back to the hallway for 2 more days! She came home and her doctor had found she caught a bug in the hospital. My father in-law had a heart attack. He had to wait 3 months for an appointment for the test he needed. He died after a month and a half. He was 44 years old. If I had 3 wishes, the first would be that doer or someone he loves would become VERY sick. Then he would know what impact his LIES have. I would bet that if it was doer or his family member in the hospital a room all the tests he would need would be done right now! I hope people in Manitoba take a close look at this skumbag ndp government's lies. They might have done something that helped your situation. Or you may look at the new promises they are vomiting now and think that would be good for me. You need to look past what is good for the minority and look at the people you love. Just hope they won't get sick and DIE because of the slimy lying pieces of sh!t ndp. Quote
madmax Posted May 6, 2007 Report Posted May 6, 2007 Are people that voted for them that stupid? Maybe a good name for them would be misguided MORONS. And for you misguided morons that will vote ndp no matter what, I only hope the worst for you! Things sound absolutely terrible there. I would be surprised if things are as bad as you say they are that the public would allow the government to stick around for a 3rd term. I don't believe it is wise to call people stupid, morons, misguided morons, and then wishing the worst upon them. So I take it you are voting conservative? Quote

I've changed the ndp voter name calling in my posts. I'm to the point of moving out of Manitoba if the ndp get elected for a third term, it is that bad. I don't expect allot from politicians, just to follow threw with some of their promises. There is none of that with the ndp. Maybe I'm just expecting too much? Quote

I do expect alot from politicians. The Liberals in Ontario made more promises then I can count. It became the topic of discussion, to such a degree that the Provincial Leader said he would like to give everyone a pony if he could. My opinion in Ontario, suggests that it has become common place that the populist vision of politics disappeared about 15 years ago here. That included the Bob Rae Government, the Harris Government (which was ideologically driven, not populist) and the McGuinty Government (Which is about staying in power) I will cut you slack because you are new. I know what it is like to find an outlet for your frustrations. So vote against them, or if you lose, make your MPP responsible. You should never have to move. Quote
Canadian Blue Posted May 8, 2007 Report Posted May 8, 2007 Buddy I think you should first of all relax. I moved to Manitoba in september from Ontario, and it really didn't seem all that bad. From what I understand the government isn't that bad, they've managed to balance the budget, and have even given some tax cuts. As for health care, it ain't much better in some provinces with a conservative or liberal government. Either way, you should calm down, count to ten, and start to think rationally for a change. I was looking at your sig. and now I have to ask the question. Is there anything on Proportional Representation being mentioned during the campaign? Quote
beatenwoman2005 Posted May 14, 2007 Report Posted May 14, 2007 I understand how you feel about the NDP. It is all a lie..... My family knows this to be true after what we went through as well. None of my folk will be voting NDP again because of a situation the NDP could have changed but they chose not to. You should confront their party platform in a public situation. Most people are cowards and are afraid to speak their mind because society believes we can not fight city hall, but we can. The truth about all political platforms is they are afraid of standing on an issue PRIOR to it coming in to light. The only time they take stand is when people like you speak out. Then and only then does it become part of their platform and they vow to make change. All the politicians suck, they all LIE.... They will do whatever it takes to get -reelected. There needs to be new parties put into place that can only be done with lobbying by you, me and others. No doubt, it is nice that the NDP, under Doer, built a rainy day fund, that could be used when that rainy day came. Crown Corps should not be having surpluses, if they do, that means they are robbing the citizens who own the Crown Corps. Good for Doer for taking it back and giving it to the people where it was needed to go. The health care problems arise in the same manner across Canada, and it started under Paul martin who slashed and cutted health Care transfer payments to the provinces. Well a new comer to Manitoba. Glad you know whats been going on here in Manitoba for the last 7 1/2 years. I guess I could go to Ontario and find things are rosy? As for the ndp balancing the budget. You need to do some reading on the subject! Tax cuts didn't happen as the school boards ate that up in the first 2 weeks. Alittle advice, don't get sick in Manitoba. Quote
