Who's Doing What? Posted February 4, 2007 Report Posted February 4, 2007 I pick appropriate song lyrics, whether Blue Rodeo, Gordon Lightfoot, Beatles, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, etc. And as for laughing, I notice that left wingers have no sense of humor. That is totally untrue. Left wingers laugh at right wingers all the time. Bush has been nothing if not a joke for his entire presidency. Harper in his cowboy outfit. That was funny too. Quote Harper differed with his party on some key policy issues; in 1995, for example, he was one of only two Reform MPs to vote in favour of federal legislation requiring owners to register their guns. http://www.mapleleafweb.com/election/bio/harper.html "You've got to remember that west of Winnipeg the ridings the Liberals hold are dominated by people who are either recent Asian immigrants or recent migrants from eastern Canada: people who live in ghettoes and who are not integrated into western Canadian society." (Stephen Harper, Report Newsmagazine, January 22, 2001)
Ricki Bobbi Posted February 4, 2007 Report Posted February 4, 2007 Left-wingers *laugh* at people because they feel a sense of superiority based on their faux-intellectualism. Quite sad any left-winger who laughs at people. Just evidence of how false their talk of inclusiveness is. Such hatred and childishness. tsk tsk tsk Quote Dion is a verbose, mild-mannered academic with a shaky grasp of English who seems unfit to chair a university department, much less lead a country. B. Max Posted February 4, 2007 Report Posted February 4, 2007 Excuse me, that is old old data, there have been numerous reports out since the one in 2000 that you link to, and 2 significant ones within the last month. Both are linked in other threads, One was from the UN and the other was from a group of scientists around the world that is discussed in length in another environment thread, as search of the last month would find it. Plus the Stern Report is also discussed and has much more current data. So what. Those numbers don't change. The stern report was another political document and had nothing to do with science. Quote

The Stern Report was an ECONOMIC Report, based upon science later than your 2000 excerpt. There was just US Davis report releaded that says the numbers do change and they have. http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?...BAG12ND9T01.DTL Here is are links to the UN Report. Please do read some current, and more factual informations that has been provided. http://environment.newscientist.com/channe...climate-change/ http://www.ipcc.ch/ Quote When the rich wage war, it's the poor who die. ~Jean-Paul Sartre
