jdobbin Posted January 24, 2007 Report Posted January 24, 2007 http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/capress/070123/...mulroney_airbus I'd still be curious as to the reasons why Toew's department dropped re-opening it when the CBC Fifth Estate report conflicted with what Mulroney and Schreiber said in earlier discussions. Who's Doing What? Posted January 24, 2007 Report Posted January 24, 2007 http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/capress/070123/...mulroney_airbusI'd still be curious as to the reasons why Toew's department dropped re-opening it when the CBC Fifth Estate report conflicted with what Mulroney and Schreiber said in earlier discussions. Man is thing ever going to go away? Why did it take the Fith Estate so long to uncover this inconsistancy? Who were the "senior Ottawa bureaucrats" that were involved in the review? Where can I get a job where I get $300,000 just for sending out a brochure? Ricki Bobbi Posted January 25, 2007 Report Posted January 25, 2007 Where can I get a job where I get $300,000 just for sending out a brochure? Maybe you should just start by getting *any* job. geoffrey Posted January 25, 2007 Report Posted January 25, 2007 Mulroney is a smart, well connected man. People with those qualifications, especially the later, get paid huge money for meanial tasks just so that the purchaser can have them around to say nice things to the right people. It's the reality of business, Mulroney wasn't out of line. There is no evidence of selling the government's favour. Quote RealRisk.ca - (Latest Post: Prosecutors have no "Skin in the Game") --
hiti Posted January 25, 2007 Report Posted January 25, 2007 Oh my......... just cause it was Mulroney it was dropped by this "new" government. They didn't want one of their own to be outed as "on the take" over Airbus with bags full of $$$$. We can see where the sponsorship Boss, the Tory Chuck Guite learned his trade. After all he was Mulroney's ad man. Quote "You cannot bring your Western standards to Afghanistan and expect them to work.
