Britain's War Within

Did anyone watch this CNN special last nite (Sat.), it was worth a watch, I missed the first half of it.

Britain is undergoing some radical changes to its way of life and culture, this looks at how the radical Muslims are preying on the young muslims. We can only hope that the moderates win this war, because what happens in Britain could be a harbinger of what will happen in the rest of Europe and eventually N.A.

Some mosques in Britain, while publicly agreeing to cross-cultural tolerance, in fact sometimes host preachers from both Britain and abroad who rail with hatred against "kafirs" (infidels), against homosexuals, against democracy and even against women.

This hate-speech and the attempt by extremists to recruit young disaffected Muslims on London's deprived streets and even on university campuses is beginning to motivate the "other voices of Islam" to try to seize back their religion, which they say has been hijacked. I'm expecting a European response, against the Muslims, that may make the Holocaust look gentle. I don't want this to happen, but clearly radical Islam is like a cancer; if not cut out it will overwhelm and destroy its hosts.

Having spent some time in certain parts of Europe over the past couple of years I would have to agree with you.

Folks here simply get the sanitized media - but do not see or hear the great and growing frustration of those in Europe who are well and truly tired of what is happening with the Islamic population.

It is coming and it will not be pretty. Unlike North America, I am now hearing many from Europe speak of this as a war rather than a societal/religious issue.

In all honesty I am surprized the lid has not popped off yet.

These dispatches could be waking people up to the problems in Britain, but the media seemed to be more concerned about reporting remarks made on a reality show. The media often shapes opinion rather than reporting, but seems to be willing to overlook the more dangerous aspects of Britain. Obviously the reason is political correctness and an unwillingness to be subjected to being called racist etc. Surely it is time for someone to take a stronger stand against this type of activity.

For last week’s “Dispatches” program on Britain’s Channel Four, a reporter with a hidden camera entered Birmingham’s Green Lane mosque (which has won praise from Britain’s Muslim peer, Lord Ahmed) and other leading mosques in Britain. He found they preached Islamic supremacism, hatred of Jews and Christians, and the subjugation of women.

The statement doesn’t address the obvious fact that it would be difficult, if not impossible, to cherry-pick statements anywhere near as hateful and inflammatory as those recorded in the Green Lane mosque from proceedings in any Jewish, Christian, Hindu, or Buddhist house of worship.

Among the statements recorded in the Green Lane mosque were these about women:

* “Allah has created the woman – even if she gets a Ph.D. – deficient. Her intellect is incomplete, deficient. She may be suffering from hormones that will make her emotional. It takes two witnesses of a woman to equal the one witness of the man.”........................

If the relatively peaceful, cerebral Jews were unacceptable as neighbors to Europeans, imagine how Muslims will play out.
