Hasan Ali Tokuqin Posted December 22, 2006 Report Posted December 22, 2006 Love brings sadness Sex brings self esteem and joy and longevity to life. Sex is a crystal clear, plain sight Love is murky and blurred vision. Love is morbid and stressful Sex is humorus and easy going. Sex is something up-beat Love is plummeting. Love is larger than life Sex is life itself. Sex is like saving money Love is like spending money. Love is a game of hide and seek Sex is a game of frog leap. Love confuses the soul Sex rejoices the soul. Sex is exchanging energy Love is wasting it. Love is hell on earth Sex is heaven on earth. Love is sleepless nights Sex is sweet dreams. Sex is a torrid interlude Love is chill of the wind. Love is a narcotic dependence Sex is detoxication. Love is solitude and desparation Sex is a party with large circle of friends. Love is Spartan and redundant Sex is simple and quintessential. Love reqiures commitment and chastity Sex reqiures friendship and reminiscene. Hasan Ali Tokuqin source:www.poemhunter.com Quote
DarkAngel_ Posted December 22, 2006 Report Posted December 22, 2006 "sex if filthy. its dirt to the soul, at the bottom of the soul." Friedrich Nietzsche, ‘thus poke zarathustra.’ i love that book ... any way, love is more, sex is less, and the lesser as it falls faster, the love hurts slower. but i love how it hurts. jbg Posted December 23, 2006 Report Posted December 23, 2006 There's nothing uplifiting or positive about that poem. Quote Free speech: "You can say what you want, but I don't have to lend you my megaphone." Always remember that when you are in the right you can afford to keep your temper, and when you are in the wrong you cannot afford to lose it. - J.J. Reynolds. Will the steps anyone is proposing to fight "climate change" reduce a single temperature, by a single degree, at a single location? The mantra of "world opinion" or the views of the "international community" betrays flabby and weak reasoning (link).
DarkAngel_ Posted December 23, 2006 Report Posted December 23, 2006 your right, lights on or lights off, that is the defining prefrence of love or sex well it matters if you like love or not, the poem is correct, some of us prefer the pain, its well worth the hurt Quote men of freedom walk with guns in broad daylight, and as the weak are killed freedom becomes nothing but a dream...
betsy Posted December 23, 2006 Report Posted December 23, 2006 Love brings sadnessSex brings self esteem and joy and longevity to life. Love brings self-esteemn and joy. Nothing is as boosting as knowing you are loved by the one you love. And this can have a positive effect on lengevity to life. Sex can shoot down self-esteem....for those insecured with their sexuality..including performance-wise, or lenght-wise. Sex is a crystal clear, plain sight. Not everyone is honest and forthright about their std. It becomes crystal clear where one got it....when the itching starts. Love is murky and blurred vision. And so is sex. That's why we've got these stds and unwanted babies....despite having condoms and other contraceptives to protect us. Love is morbid and stressfulSex is humorus and easy going. Love can survive and go on without sex. But can sex (with the same person) go on and survive without love? Anyway whoever wrote this poem seem to have found an excellent sex partner! And by the way he's going on extolling the virtues of their sex....I bet it wouldn't be long he'll be spouting words of love! Quote
Canadian Blue Posted December 24, 2006 Report Posted December 24, 2006 Sex is probably better than love, more or less because it's 5 minutes of pleasure, and love is years of pain. Quote "Keep your government hands off my medicare!" - GOP activist
blue_eyed_demon1 Posted January 15, 2007 Report Posted January 15, 2007 Our society today has turned love into such a commercial and material emotion- so that we think we need to express ourselves more than physically- so what is love? Honestly I believe I've found it but what do I know? The only thing we know from love is from movies and romance novels- which is lust. Love nowadays means Lust which means (evidently) sex. You can have love without sex- I agree. But it's so rare nowadays that our judgement is plummeted into a pit of sweat and tears and blood- all of our own. Sweat from the sex, tears from the heartbreak, and blood from the sad emo-kids who get dumped . Just joking! But seriously, love is materialism nowadays and sex is slowly turning into a necessity- and it's being needed by people younger and younger. Quote
Elder Posted January 18, 2007 Report Posted January 18, 2007 Sex is probably better than love, more or less because it's 5 minutes of pleasure, and love is years of pain. Good grief! No one appreciates valuable experiences. 1st of all, yes love involves pain... Life is Pain. Anyone who says different is selling something. Ya'll know who said it.However, that certainly is not the only aspect, although it certainly draws much more attention. There is tenderness in love, there is purpose in love, there are those quiet moments of holding eachother in a non-sexual way that can be heaven. There are those moments when you have made it through the pain that make it all worth it (yes they do come). 2nd of all, as I said, nobody appreciates experience. It's the hard times that make you grow. I count every tear I've shed, especially those over love lost, as a reminder that I'm still human and that my heart, while broken, is still alive and well. It's when there are no tears over loss that I worry about whether I have cut myself off from my emotions. I've loved, I've lost, and I can honestly look back and say I'm better for it. Don't be afraid of loss. I've made that mistake too and it is a mistake. I would rather have a long lasting relationship with ups and downs and end up a widow than even an hour of the greatest sex in the universe, because then I'd know that the sex I was having for a lifetime meant something. Which leads me to point 3. I really hate it when love and sex are separated. To my way of thinking, there is a significant difference between having sex and making love, and it should be obvious what I prefer. I want it to be more than just my body and my instincts, I want it to be my heart that's involved. I want to love and be loved. Yes, it's high risk, but it's definitely worth it. Quote
DarkAngel_ Posted January 19, 2007 Report Posted January 19, 2007 ever got that look from a drop-dead-gorgous girl, that burned a hole right through your heart and made you feel humiliated in more then one way? i love that feeling, as well as the googly eye's, the 'no you didn't' look, and the feeling of being a man... WITH a woman... i love: love, and would probibly have the greatest sex in the universe as long as it was by the act of making love... my definitions of romance are determaned by chivalry... influenced? ya, but still damn uplifting and completing, though, sometimes i think love is for the weak hearted. as in, i've only loved once... Quote men of freedom walk with guns in broad daylight, and as the weak are killed freedom becomes nothing but a dream...
RB Posted February 1, 2007 Report Posted February 1, 2007 Well, for me sex is something finer in a man than anything, which he has said. I think that the ultimate orgasm is not a anecdote for procreation or excitement and whether men know it I feel that sex is a sort of unwrap anticipation which resides in both male and female and which when they unit with each other experiences and shares an outran performance. Sex can be powerful largely when latent. What I mean is that we can demonstrate sex by cajole, consent, force, by chance like the hopes of the young ones, but also guide sex by our impulses e.g. in our solitary space, the loners, and believe we do not need anyone to entertain and unwrap us but set off to have a good run at sex…good ol’ masturbation I don’t believe that those folks who have truly enjoy sex need to inquire of others what they should reveal in order to be deemed their faculties in order, say, to advise who or what is sexually incomparable, sensitive, trusted, talented, good etc. What I mean is that why do we have to question “sex”, as it is reflected in opinions. You ask a question which is strongest sex? or Love I like to pose a question now, is it because we can easily predict "sex or love" base on good man, bad man, right woman, wrong woman. Or more importantly perhaps we like to know the opinions about sex because we cannot see “action” until it is done and translated to us and then we decide on the good man bad man bit. To a dull observer, it is easy to beat upon a man. Every iron statue in the marketplace looks better than the real man, but men are meant to guard their loins, to arise and be majestic to convince the woman’s senses that likely things are possible. Perhaps love. Women then hasten to be a man’s guest, their fools and their compliance and women compliment their men the only way they know how … to own them (i think that's how they end up in the marketplace). Then women regulated or remove the sex. Quote
