Montreal — The federal government has launched a new strategy to organize the fight against cancer across the country.Prime Minister Stephen Harper announced Friday that a new agency called the Canadian Partnership Against Cancer will be a “clearing house” for the latest information on cancer care. The government has already dedicated $260-million over five years to the effort, which Mr. Harper promised during the last federal election campaign.
