jdobbin Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 Actually there was. The USS Cole and the two African embassy's. Still, 911 would have been planned on Clinton's watch. Correction. On U.S. land. I was responding to the charge that attacks would be on the U.S. directly rather than military and diplomatic outposts. Quote
B. Max Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 You must live in cave not to have known about it. It's been all over both fox and cnn.Frankly, I think would pretty dumb for Americans to vote based on who a few terrorists like or don't like. Americans should be voting for what in their best interest and if their best interest happens to be something that a few terrorists like as well then so be it. You must think Americans are stupid if you think they would be persuaded by an argument that says: "you can't vote for the party that will fix the mess that Bush created because it might make some terrorists happy". No I think Americans have been fed a line of nonsense from the left wing media which has been em-bolding the terrorists. Putting the dems in charge of the house will embolden them even further. The reason they want the republicans out is because they have taking the fight to the terrorists and inflicting severe losses to their world wide command and control structure of terrorism and that is in the interest of all of us. Ricki Bobbi Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 If you read the woldnetdaily, you would see they have a report that the U.S. shot down their own plane Flight 93. You believe that?Republicans can claims there own financial and sexual scandals. It is Iraq though that has them on the ropes. Don't really know how to take this post at face value, but I guess you are mocking World Net Daily. Deserving mocking, don't get me wrong. Look at a site and when you see ads for "The Truth About Cindy Sheehan" and "The Truth About Islam" you can gues which side the Truth lies on... Looknig at crap like that is what drives me crazy about lefties in Canada automatically equating Canadian Conservatives with the wingnuts in the Republican party. We aren't the same!!! Fear, I love it, you can easily sway an uninformed public through the use of fear tactics which can be totally untrue. Democrats don't support terrorists, thats complete BS, and its a fear tactic which is despicable and only destroys democracy in the end. Especially when their is no rock hard evidence of this claim. 911 would have been planned on Clintons watch. More Americans died in one day, the 911 day. They are fighting to see that the Islamic terrorists don't take over Iraq and then bring the war back to the US like they did on 911. So far more American's have died fighting in Iraq then 9/11. The odd thing is that they died in a country which in the end had little to do with 9/11. As for Bush getting impeached for War Crimes, get off the pot. If we charged Bush for war crimes that would be the biggest BS ever. Would any world leader ever risk using military means to stop ethnic cleansing ever again. As it would be easy to say using military force is a "war crime", and the US military hasn't ethnically cleansed anybody or gained much in terms of economic gains. Hell, Truman was more worthy of being charged with war crimes!!! Yeah conservatives and republican's are very different. I think Coulter is the biggest wingnut out there. Hell, I think pretty well 85% of what James Dobson says is complete BS. Quote "Keep your government hands off my medicare!" - GOP activist
BHS Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 Grounds to Impeach Bush There most definitely are legitimate grounds for impeachment. I would love to see it happen, except it would make Cheney president, and I think he's much worse than Bush. So I'll just be content to see the Dems hold Bush in check for the next two years should they gain majority in the House and Senate. To impeach a president would take two years of hearings by the time it is all done. Cheney is not interested in becoming President. Perhaps the Democrats can impeach Bush, take maybe a year and a half, and then Cheney can be President for six months. Then when the Democrats elect a President, he/she will have a bulls eye painted on their back. If it is not real, it can be setup. You do realize that impeachment isn't the same thing as removal from office, yes? Clinton was impeached and it didn't slow him down a bit. It's a frivolous waste of legislative time, taxpayer dollars and voter goodwill. Quote "And, representing the Slightly Silly Party, Mr. Kevin Phillips Bong." * * * "Er..no. Harper was elected because the people were sick of the other guys and wanted a change. Don't confuse electoral success (which came be attributed to a wide variety of factors) with broad support. That's the surest way to wind up on the sidelines." - Black Dog
