August1991 Posted October 22, 2006 Report Posted October 22, 2006 Interesting read and I agree with alot, although I was against the American invasion of Iraq. By the standards of the region, he wasn't even virulently hostile to Israel. He was into equestrian statues, not suicide bombers.Saddam paid the families of suicide bombers. He also tried to get a nuclear weapon and the Israelis had to destroy the plant. A major feature of Gulf War I was Saddam's attempts to lob Scuds into Israel - some succeeded. The Americans can't just pullout of Iraq. But the next president is probably going to do as Nixon and "Iraqize" the military there. It takes a strong politician to tell the military to stop doing what they're doing and to do it differently. Why bring that up when George already SAID that it was just piddling stuff, comparatively. It takes a strong politician to tell the military to stop doing what they're doing and to do it differently. The verdict's coming soon and with any luck Saddam will be sentenced to time served. And once back in the saddle you can mark my words that George Bush will breathe a sigh of relief afterwards. America1 Posted October 23, 2006 Report Posted October 23, 2006 Favorite for the century, that's kinda hard to pin point but here is a very telling one but, not surprising at all. We are biased, admit the stars of BBC News http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/arti...in_page_id=1770 Quote

And thanks for introducing me to The Daily Mail ... it looks like a good read. The BBC has prayer rooms set up so the Muslim staff (of which there are many) can pray 5 times a day. We all know that Europe will be Muslim dominated in a few generations because of their high birth rate, but if they are smart they will be able to push forward their dominance of the continent by ensuring that they get the numbers in the media. Once the TV stations, newspapers etc are primarily staffed by Muslims with their agenda ... it's over. I now actually think that I will see Eurabia in my lifetime ... and I'm one old fart.
