What Would You Have Done?

Recommended Posts

It's 9-11-01. The country was attacked. What would you have done over the last two years to combat terrorism. I'd have followed what Bush did only instead of having lost troops in Iraq, the areas where Baghdad and other major Iraqi cities are would be recovering from fallout. As would Mecca and other Saudi Arabia cities and Iranian cities. I'd be starring Kim Jong Il down the barrel of an ICBM waiting for him to blink and begin disarming. You say it'd spark more terrorism? Oh really? I'd make certain every terrorist was ashes and for every American lost, I'd find what country the terrorist called home and level it.

And you libs thought Bush was extreme. I don't like being attacked. Imagine how peaceful the world would be had they never attacked us.....

What would you have done?

Before you attack Nucleus, you would have to see why this happened in the 1st place. Look at our Foreign Policy in those Muslim regions of the world, see why people HATE AMERICA more than THEY LOVE LIFE, this is far more complex since these terrorists took their own lives to kill us. To simply go and attack is not the answer. I do understand the reasoning behind the Taliban invasion in Aphganistan but, to attack Iraq and entrench us the way this moron has done is completely outrageous!!!

We need to re-establish P.R. in those regionsin lieu of alienated our allies, that's how we gather information on terror, not attack everyone and insult our former allies.

More innocent people have died in Afganistan and Iraq than all in 9-11, you think this doesn't transform more moderate muslims into radicals, building hate even further???

Learn from the Palestinian/Israeli conflict, attacking terror by killing terrorist and innocent is not going to stop the cycle now is it?

First I would stick to finding the people responsible for 9-11, i.e., Osama Bin Laden and not make the situation larger than we can handle. Saddam was an unfinished job by many in this current administration, not to mention the assasination attempt on Bush Sr., which had revenge written all over it for dubya.

I would stand strong against terrorism and hard lined against Saddam but, U.N. inspectors were allowed back into Iraq with military back-up in Kuwait. I would have never rushed into war and perhaps kept to threats only. Most of all, I would have not alienated our allies and the U.N. because in the end, we need their support, intelligence, troops, and money.

We could be focusing on the economy and needs at home right now. I think Gen. Wesley Clark is our best chance at restoring our dignity on Foreign Affairs right now cause you do not want to travel abroad right now as an American, we're hated even more and people hope another attack on us for our bad behavior.

As for an assassination attempt, had it been on MY father, I'd have nuked the guy for that ALONE. Anyhow, an ASSASSINATION ATTEMPT ON A UNITED STATES PRESIDENT. That alone is a good enough reason to go into Iraq and dethrone Saddam.

The UN wasn't doing squat to get back in Iraq. When Bush said to do something or we're going to do it for you, then they starting to get their act together but still were blind to the obvious.

As far as the economy, we've said it before. Clinton started it. Bush inherited a declining economy. The terror attacks hurt the economy more. Outsourcing is also an issue(one of few things we can do to help the economy, STOP OUTSOURCING), The Dow was in the 7900 range for awhile, but is now about 9500.......the economy is better, it's just gonna take time for the average joe to feel it. There are jobs out there. Some people who can't find a 40 horus job that pays 50,000 a year would rather sit on their rear and collect a gov't check as opposed to work 80 hours a week to survive on 35,000 a year until they can get a better job. You do what you have to. Most people who are in the gutter let themselves fall in.

As far as foreign policy, who really cares? In 1941 we wanted nothing to do with the rest of the world. Let them do their thing, we'll do ours, trade is cool but that's it. Now since WW2 and the Cold War, we've been forced in. If they don't like us, too bad. We originally came in to save their rears from the Nazis and the Japanese Empire so quit complaining!

First Hunt down terrorist. (B-52s, Tanks, the good ol'

conventional way.

Then tell terroristic states, stop harboring terrorists, or we will fuck up your country, then turn it into a democracy. Will ya like that one? (i would do this to Iran first, of course)

Then Comes the NK factor, tell them to disarm, or point 1000 nukes at them.

Assasinate Kim Jong il. Assasinate senior members of his party who are very loyal to him also.

Then deal with the economy, if nessecary.

But gentleman what about love ? Post modern internationalism ? Dancing lessons and Gay Marriage ? National DayCare ? Socialised Health Care ? What about the trees, the aliens and the whales ? What about Yoga classes and New Age music and shitty movies from Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins ?

Can't we all just love each other ? After all the Russians [and the Iraqi's and the NK's] loved and love their children too ? Can't we just have a big group hug to understand root causes ?

Isn't that what John Lennon preached ? Love Love Love.

Isn't he the great hero of the stoned generation ? Isn't that what the worthy Bill Clinton was trying to tell us - just love humanity and they will love you back ?

first educate americans on the numberous illegal CIA operations the US has done.

this would give them a balanced look at the reality of the world so they stop waiving their flags like idiotss pretending they do no harm.

tell them all about he past relations with iran, iraq, and afganistan, all the dirty secrets, teh body counts, the violations of law and so on. you cant make decisions unless you know all teh facts

second

stop buying oil from saudi arabia and make everyone walk to work- this will also solve the rampant obesity problem.

third- give isael and palestine one last change to work it out, nuke the side that screws it up.
