For these reasons, I’m taking a leave from my regular columns at the National Post and running to be the next federal Conservative candidate for Aurora-Oak Ridges-Richmond Hill.

I want to do whatever I can to build Canada back to a place where every generation is better off than the last. The next election is a critical opportunity to do that before the downward spiral Trudeau’s Liberals thrust us into swallows the country whole.

 

Well that was a shocker. That should prove to be interesting, she's a talented, popular, successful journalist as well as a female, she checks an awful lot of boxes that the mushy middle voters will like, and she'll bring  a lot of media contacts to the party.

I now await the screaming from the left about how she's actually a racist deplorable sub human.  Followed by some commentary about how we need more women in politics (just not her kind)

Heh, I remember seeing this for Nikki Haley.

Kamala Harris was more Indian than she was qualified in the US. Her culture was rammed down our throats. A first.

Haley is on the wrong side of the aisle, so some might even question her heritage.
