Canadian Israeli peace activist Vivian Silver, feared to be held hostage, confirmed killed in Hamas attacks (strong advocate for palestine)

Silver's son, Yonatan Zeigen, confirmed his mother's death, telling CBC News on Monday that the 74-year-old's remains had been found earlier at Kibbutz Be'eri, where she resided, but were only identified now, more than five weeks after the attacks.

The Jewish Federation of Winnipeg mourned Silver's death in a Facebook post, expressing devastation at the loss of "a renowned pacifist who tirelessly advocated for peace and the improvement of the quality of life for Palestinians." 

 

And they killed her. In a horrible fashion, it took 5 weeks just to identify her body.

This is why peace with Gaza is impossible. They even slaughter those israelis pushing for peace and better conditions for them.    It's sad she's dead of course, but this is what you get for trusting and trying to help monsters.

You have to destroy Hamas. Only means of negotiating with Palestinians. 

Down side, is all this death and destruction and poverty, is perfect breeding grounds for terrorism.

The more Israel bombs them, the more propaganda you gift them with.

All you can hope is that at some point enough of them come to the realization that this just isn't worth it, and decide to look for a peaceful solution. Palestine has never done that. Until they do this continues and next time Israel will probably just remove the settlement permanently. 

But if enough of them decide getting bombed back to the stone age and being used as meat shields is bad and that they want to look for genuine peace, then while there may be the odd terrorist act here and there over time they will have peace and eventually they'll live in harmony.

But it starts with palestine deciding war is a bad option. Hopefully this little scuffle will convince them of that.
