Parliamentarians Came Under Attack from Protesters, Fake News CTV, CBC and Global Form a Wall of Silence, Gov't Tried to Hide it From Canadians

Cdn Fox started a thread about the National Post's article which referenced an attack on some parliamentarians by pro-Palestinian/pro-Hamas supporters in Ottawa. 

If you watch the video contained in it, you'll notice that at about the 30-second mark a woman interrupts the senator (Don Plett) to remind him that the senators were all asked to discuss it in a non-public meeting. 

1. The Prime Minister hasn't commented on the incident 
2. CBC hasn't commented on it 
3. CTV hasn't commented on it
4. Global News hasn't commented on it

Why has a wall of silence been created around this incident?

You know that if it happened during the Freedom Convoy it would have been blown up as the most violent protest in the history of the world.

1. CBC would have found an Ocassio Cortez/Ilhan Omar type MP to say "They called me a _____, a _____ and said ____ about my religion. They threatened to kill me." The claim would go undisputed, and anyone who dared would be called a racist, etc, etc...
2. CTV would have reported on the Ocassio Cortez/Ilhan Omar type MP saying "They called me a _____, a _____ and said ____ about my religion. They threatened to kill me."
3. Global would have reported on the Ocassio Cortez/Ilhan Omar type MP saying "They called me a _____, a _____ and said ____ about my religion. They threatened to kill me."
4. The PM would have come on TV to denigrate Canadians and embarass us all on the world stage, as if somehow we're the world's biggest shithole country. The actual shithole countries of the world would use the footage of our PM to foment hatred against us.
5. The Emergency Act police brutality would have been glorified instead of just being ignored. 

Why do we have such fake news outlets in Canada to begin with?

Who do they actually work for? It's clearly not "Canadians". Is it still the LPOC? Does the LPOC have a dog in this fight, really?
