It is IMPOSSIBLE for anyone to take anything personally, because nobody exists here. We are all just TEXT.  All that exists are our ideas. Nobody here has given an actual name or any way to get in touch.

When it comes to an EGALITARIAN environment, you won't find a more PURE example than political message boards. NOBODY is physically superior. NOBODY is richer, stronger, more beautiful, poorer, uglier, etc. We are all EQUAL. We are nothing more than just TEXT. That means NONE of us are special. We are ALL the same.

The ONLY thing that makes us individuals is our ideas. This is the marketplace of ideas.

In a marketplace, you have to sell something. Of course, that's almost a contradiction because there is no way to get PAID for selling a good or service in this lace. So pretty much, we are GIVING our political views and opinions for FREE. NOBODY is getting paid in this marketplace.

It's just a place we all come to air our grievances, discuss and argue.

It is NOT a safe space. Real life is NOT a safe space.

Liberals, you REALLY need to take a chill pill. You aren't going to get your way all the time, either in the real world or here.

I told you, I don't care about robo from Cali or Rebound from South Cali, it comes down to how you expose your ideas to win the battle. 

I wasn't aware this was a battle. I was always under the impression that it was merely a political message board, where participants discuss and debate the issues.

So, why would they listen to a man that starts 5 sex trannies topics today instead of using his IQ to make a difference in economics or something better?!  

First, you'll have to NAME the five threads about sex trannies TODAY. (Honestly, I only know of ONE, where I suggested that Drag Queens were pedophiles.) Secondly, in the MARKETPLACE OF IDEAS, if a thread about sex trannies is inferior, it dies on the vine from lack of participation. How about letting the free market decide those things here?

I've created threads from a LOT of diverse topics, using reliable sources all the way. I've created several threads on the demise and danger of Woke philosophy. (What is sexual about that?) I created one on the Supreme Court about to rule on Affirmative Action. What's sexual about that? What is sexual about a California community college announcing it was taking conservatives to the slaughterhouse? What is sexual about California driving insurers from the state?

To bring you up to speed, I choose topics that are in the news and are relevant. And I always include a link to the news source along with just enough documentation to not put this forum in risk of copyright violation.

Tell me again with your problem with me acting like everyone else here.

As far as being a coward goes, once again I'm a little mystified by how important some people think this place is.  Here in Florida, I'm afraid of swimming in the ocean because of man eating sharks. I'm afraid of skinny dipping in swamps because of aggressive alligators and eastern diamondbacks. Those are true fears. What is there to be afraid of in a political message board. We can't agree on lunch.) in individual discussions, if a liberal comes off with some truly NATIONAL SOCIALIST crap, and does so without any real thought at all, I'm going to call him/her on it.

In my view, liberals today (and they didn't used to be that way) have a lot in common with National Socialist Nazis. Ideology wise, they are a carbon copy. It's just a matter of time before they adopt the tactics. If they want to spew such Nazi crap, they're going to get called on it.

What you have to remember is that personalities and people do not exist here. Only our ideas. That's the ONLY thing we are judge on.

If you are a libertarian, (a PURE one, as in late 80s, early 90s) then you are NOT a Nazi. If I called you one (and I honestly don't remember) accept my apologies.

Folks do not generally come to an online forum for measured, calm, rational discussions. Something has them fired up and they come here as an outlet for that. One indication of this.. the anonymity. They prefer to come here or somewhere else where they can blast away and without any consequences.

I think you're wrong there.  Personalities are the only things that exist here.  While some might be faked, they are mostly quite distinct.  Ideas are just the result of a certain personality reacting to whatever stimulus the last post provided.

As for purity of libertarian thought, I'm more of an impure 2023 version.  Pro-choice, gay rights, assisted suicide, that sort of thing.  That said, I did vote for one in the last federal election.  It was only because I couldn't stand either main party, and I wanted the fellow to avoid embarrassment.

Libertarians are also total OPEN BORDERS advocates, (with the idea that anyone who comes into this country would have to work for a living because Libertarians would also completely dismantle the welfare state.) Libertarians (at least the 90s versions) would have brought the entire military home and slash its budget. Also, ambassadors would be replaced by fax machines.

They'd have to slash funding because they would get rid of ALL taxes, not just the income tax. They believe any national military needs could be financed voluntarily by a populace that agrees on the move.

(Notice, I haven't bothered to debate any of those points in this post. Plenty of time for that later.)

I basically believe that anyone ought to be able to do anything as long as they want to, and no-one else is hurt by it.  Psychological pain notwithstanding.

As for taxes, I want that pothole outside my house filled, and unless you are coming to fill it yourself, it will have to be filled with your taxes.
