X Files as a child?

Mind you, I loved that show, but watched it as a teen. I also loved Unsolved Mysteries.

As for childhood shows for me, I really loved Calimero, Cite D'Or (Am French), Passe Partout (in my opinion, one of the best kids shows out there), and many others.

I was all about Legos and GI Joes, but would paint eyebrows and a mustache on my sibling's Jem dolls.

Little did we know that people who found the ACTUAL workings of government to be too boring or opaque to understand would come to believe X Files was a documentary.  The end result was that their lumpen minds would be clay to the puppet masters of the ignorant.

I didn't watch it, I don't remember why.  I thought the co-star was wooden, although she grew into being a fantastic actor - her take on Maggie Thatcher was masterful.

"The funny thing, once a few CDs were passed around, the attitude changed, what some capitalism would do to some closed-minded people, is open their minds. Now, those same people probably have the latest Netflix or Amazon Prime account watching the same shows. "

Some capitalism, meaning some capitalistic entertainments ?  Well, even the hardest leftists understood that the USSR, with its cultural restrictions, was inferior to the open society model of the west.  "Those same people" ?  Are you talking about Eastern leftists of the old guard ?  It would be interesting to see what entertainments the Frankfurt School adherents really recommend, especially in the social/political realm.

If you want my opinion, Mad Men had the best comment on western society.

1. I am talking about the old guard in this country that is copying the old guard from Eastern Europe due to their idealism.

2. You think you know better than society. The truth is you don't know anything and you are contributing daily to reactionary politics. Good day, Michael.

1. "The funny thing, once a few CDs were passed around, the attitude changed..."  the old guard in THIS country changed once X Files CDs were passed around ?  What old guard here ?  The Liberal Party ?

2. WTF.  You are becoming more hostile to me with every post, even as I continue to assist you with Centrism.ca.  What's going on ?  Maybe we should just put each other on ignore, if I have offended you so much to insult me every other post... What do you think ?  Amicable separation time ?
