1. It wasn't homosexuals lobby groups that pushed a law through parliment. The Supreme Court struck down the existing restrictive law. Even if no law was passed in parliment, homosexuals would be free to marry because the existing law was struck down.

The Supreme Court never actually ruled - not that such a ruling is in question after the way Martin stacked the court. The laws were struck down by appeals courts - which were, of course, loaded up with Liberal Party activists (I believe at least 4 Liberal cabinet members are more or less openly homosexuals) and at the behest of lawsuits launched by gay rights groups. So let's not try and pretend homosexuals had nothing to do with the law being changed.
