taxpayer Posted March 8, 2005 Report Share Posted March 8, 2005 In light on all the City hall corruption cropping up all over BC I think it is high time we all lobby our provincial government for municipal audits to ensure ethical financial accountablity is the norm for all of hard working tax payers. How many of our recent premiers have faced criminal charges. Campbell was even admittedly guilty. That's like asking the fox to guard the hen house. There are no controls on a Municiple level. Also as a taxpayer your City is the first place you pay taxes, it intimatley effects your pocket book.
