On the 17 May 2005 BC will vote in a referendum to replace the First-Past-the-Post electoral system with a form of proportional representation called the Single Transferable Vote (STV).

Vote in an online STV demonstration poll featuring candidates in the 2005 election and see how STV might work in practice.

Instructions for voting

Vote 1 for the candidate you most like

Vote 2 for your second choice

Vote 3 for your third choice

You may rank as few or as many candidates as you wish. You may rank only one candidate or you may rank all 20.
