caesar Posted January 12, 2005 Report Posted January 12, 2005 Premier loses another cabinet ministerJanuary 11, 2005 - 3:47 pm By: Nikki Pena It seems like a growing trend; first Christy Clark, then Gary Collins now this. Another BC cabinet minister is calling it quits and turning to the private sector. Sandy Santori says he's resigning as Minister of State for Resort Development. Santori will also resign his West Kootenay-Boundary seat on January 31st. Why all the resignations? Do they know something we don't yet??? Quote
Cartman Posted January 12, 2005 Report Posted January 12, 2005 Why all the resignations? Maybe they all have families they want to now spend time with or new directions to explore in their careers? Quote You will respect my authoritah!!
Big Blue Machine Posted January 13, 2005 Report Posted January 13, 2005 Campbell government is falling apart like one of those first airplanes they used to try and fly with. Yup, that kind of plane. Quote And as I take man's last step from the surface, for now but we believe not too far into the future. I just like to say what I believe history will record that America's challenge on today has forged man's destiny of tomorrow. And as we leave the surface of Taurus-Littrow, we leave as we came and god willing we shall return with peace and hope for all mankind. Godspeed the crew of Apollo 17. Pateris Posted January 13, 2005 Report Posted January 13, 2005 The Campbell government has mostly been a failure because it failed to do most of the things they promised to do because they got stared down by the environmentalists, the unions and even the people who elected them Quote
caesar Posted January 13, 2005 Author Report Posted January 13, 2005 Pateris; The Campbell government is very much disliked but certainly has nothing to do with your comments which are not valid at all. Do some research or reading before making dumb comments, Quote
Pateris Posted January 14, 2005 Report Posted January 14, 2005 caesar, Popularity of a government and whether it has failed to fulfill it's promises are TWO WHOLY SEPARATE THINGS. I know what Campbell promised to do and he has backed away from most of it due to opposition. Funny how he has wimped out on the things he promised to do (and that got him elected), yet people still hate him for not being a socialist pinko. Quote
