maplesyrup Posted November 11, 2004 Report Posted November 11, 2004 Politician's home searched in election investigation Police in Calgary searched the home of a member of the provincial legislature on Wednesday night as part of an investigation into voting irregularities in last month's municipal election. Hung Pham, the Conservative incumbent in the provincial riding of Calgary-Montrose, said police officers took computers out of his home during the raid. What is this all about? maplesyrup Posted November 11, 2004 Author Report Posted November 11, 2004 If this a false alarm, engineered by another political party, then that political party should pay the price at the polls. takeanumber Posted November 12, 2004 Report Posted November 12, 2004 I'd be surprised if the police ever get to the bottom of this. Quote
caesar Posted November 12, 2004 Report Posted November 12, 2004 This is a FEDERAL issue; not provincial. So far it involves one riding and may be hanky panky done by a relative not the candidate. Why not wait until you get some real information instead of jumping to conclusions and dramatizing the situation. This is how false rumours get started; jumping to conclusions before the facts are out. Quote
