caesar Posted October 9, 2004 Report Posted October 9, 2004 I naturally would like to see Kerry win the election. I do not trust nor like Bush and whomever is pulling the puppet strings. I think; that for world peace; he is a very dangerous man Quote
caesar Posted October 11, 2004 Author Report Posted October 11, 2004 WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Democratic challenger John Kerry (news - web sites) expanded his slight lead over President Bush (news - web sites) to three points in a tight race for the White House, according to a Reuters/Zogby poll released on Monday. Good, he may be just as protectionist in trade but hopefully will be a little more open to the opinions of the international community at large. Quote
InTO Posted October 15, 2004 Report Posted October 15, 2004 It's going to be a close final vote. I think Kerry will win it by a small percentage, but somehow I don't think it'll make a difference since the last US federal election was rigged in Bush's favour to begin with. A friend of mine in Cleveland, Ohio said to me she feared that a Kerry victory would evoke Bush declaring Martial Law in the U.S. vis-a-vis some event or other occurring (read: being staged). In doing so, he wouldn't have to relinquish power until he thought all was clear. It sounds nonsensical on the surface, but if you stop to think about it, I wouldn't put it past the Bush Administration to go to such lengths. I mean, what is with that colour-coded national security alert thingy they've got going on? What a sham! It's soooo Orwellian. The TV debates only reinforced in my mind that Bush is a puppet, and a dangerous one at that. The man's bold faced lies are so transparently shoddy, I don't know whether to laugh or to whack myself in the balls with a blunt instrument. I do think Bush's natural aplomb has come of a bit of a shocker for a lot of Yanks (but not all). Which only goes to prove how controlled the mainstream media is in that country. I was in the States during the second and third debates and watched them with friends there. None of them are backing Bush, I can tell you that much. Still, to add a little credence to the crooked election results conspiracy, even former US prez Jimmy Carter said he's concerned about the legitimacy of how the last and forthcoming federal elections are being conducted. In any event, it's all good television despite how frightening the prospective outcome of our planet will be if Bush wins. Oooh, but God help us if Mad George does win. Very bad for the U.S. and for Canada. Very bad for the world over. Quote
