At election time our votes are so divided by trivial political debate that we miss the larger picture. The only wake up call our elected representatives will heed is to have a large portion of them replaced. Just 5%-10% of us voters simply basing our votes on the principal of voting for the challenger, rather than the incumbent could change the face and possibly the mind-set of Congress.
