I have no desire to do this with you, guyser - so I will just point out that the reference you quoted had nothing to do with what you said, but with what the site I quoted said.

Sorry , not sure what you mean, which quote where?

Perhaps you haven't checked recently enough: Suicide is no longer a crime in Canada as it was removed from the Criminal Code of Canada in 1972 by the Parliament of Canada.

As I already stated, murder is the unlawful killing of another person.

Looks like your right.

As far as the republicans not being run rampant by people on the fringe, you're wrong!

AW, neither population nor population density are behind the high murder rate in the USA. What else do you think it could be?

Country, Population (millions), Murder Rate per 100k

China 1354 1.0

India 1210 3.4

USA 315 4.8

Country, Pop Per Sq Km, Murder Rate per 100k

Singapore 7301 0.3

Hong Kong 6396 0.2

United Kingdom 260 1.2

USA 33 4.8

Rather than start a new thread I will just pile on in this one: Iowa Bill Would Jail Raped Women for "Murder" of Single-cell Zygotes

A bill introduced by nine Republican state lawmakers in Iowa on Wednesday would define abortion as “murder,” sending doctors and raped women who terminate pregnancies to jail.

Oh oh - there's those Republicans again!

If a believer demands that I, as a non-believer, observe his taboos in the public domain, he is not asking for my respect but for my submission. And that is incompatible with a secular democracy. Flemming Rose (Dutch journalist)
