jacee Posted December 24, 2012 Report Posted December 24, 2012 Doesn't matter the culture they came from, just what their families did to them. So maybe all the Native protesters around this issue could stfu then. Freedom of speech ... And maybe you could just tone down the ignorance ... or inform yourself ... or stfu. Quote
Rocky Road Posted December 24, 2012 Report Posted December 24, 2012 But then Aboriginals always seem to find it easier to blame their troubles on the white man, never to look at their own contribution. Ya its like they think standards of whites is so high. Quote
jbg Posted December 25, 2012 Report Posted December 25, 2012 That's not a news article, it's Christie Blatchford's opinion. She's a reliable apologist for police - loves boys in uniform with their "rosy cheeks" and "dewey eyes" ... and wants the constitution changed to deny Aboriginal people's rights. I gave you the opportunity to explain and you responded with a personal attack. I should say to forever hold your peace but I am not. Quote Free speech: "You can say what you want, but I don't have to lend you my megaphone." Always remember that when you are in the right you can afford to keep your temper, and when you are in the wrong you cannot afford to lose it. - J.J. Reynolds. Will the steps anyone is proposing to fight "climate change" reduce a single temperature, by a single degree, at a single location? The mantra of "world opinion" or the views of the "international community" betrays flabby and weak reasoning (link).
jacee Posted December 25, 2012 Report Posted December 25, 2012 (edited) I gave you the opportunity to explain and you responded with a personal attack. I should say to forever hold your peace but I am not. Those are just the facts. Ask her. Christie Blatchford writes opinion, op-ed, not news. The thread topic is the Picton Inquiry Report about the police investigation. It's about police dismissing reports of miissing women for several years. Only a third of the victims were Aboriginal so blaming their 'culture' aas Blatchford does is entirely irrelevant. Edited December 25, 2012 by jacee Quote
