Guest Peeves Posted December 6, 2012 Report Posted December 6, 2012 I have a problem with those ordered to "--------- _________________". there's little to no monitoring to insure they comply with the terms, and, we no from experience that convicted impaired drivers with no license or insurance will still drive drunk if a car is accessible. Guest Peeves Posted December 13, 2012 Report Posted December 13, 2012 Some how this just stinks! "He had admitted to stabbing his young children 46 times" MONTREAL — A father who stabbed to death his children will be a free man, less than four years later. Guy Turcotte has been granted his release from a psychiatric institution, with conditions. The cardiologist had been found not criminally responsible for killing his two children and, since last year’s court verdict, he had been in Montreal’s Pinel institute. His case provoked a torrent of outrage in Quebec, where Turcotte is a household name. http://news.national...han-four-years/ Quote
guyser Posted December 14, 2012 Report Posted December 14, 2012 (edited) On a Web or bulletin board discussion list or a Usenet newsgroup, a cross-post is the posting (submission) of an article to more than one discussion list or newsgroup at a time. On Usenet, the cross-post can be done in such a way that all newsgroup users can link to, read, and, if desired, respond to one copy of the posting on one of the newsgroups. Each of the other posted newsgroups contains a reference to it. Cross-post is also used to mean simply copying the posting to each of a number of discussion groups. Most discussion groups and newsgroups provide rules about how and whether to submit articles as cross-posts.http://searchsoa.techtarget.com/definition/cross-post Rather simple really.
