kairos
But he can use Google ! Woot! Sorry I don't think you'll actually find 'woot' in the dictionary ,even if you google. You might find it on internet gaming sites for 14 year olds though. Perhaps you should be hanging out there? Not sure how I'm being servile to a man with Alzheimer's that lives across the country. H Of course they get paid for what they do, but the pay is not even remotely reflective of the sacrifices that are made as a public figure like Ralph Klein was. cybercoma
I stand by what I said and in no way does it make me grovelling or a lackey. I may be a sycophant I I was employed by him or looking for his favour, but he's retired. I don't think those words mean what you think they mean. kairos
Even with Dementia Klein and his image are influential. In fact they dominate Canadian politics today. Klein's Alberta is currently serving as the model for Canada under Harper. Your sycophantism is not limited to Klein, but politicians in general. Giving a guy at work a pat on the back is one thing. Giving an ageing plutocrat, the Order of Canada is another.

kairos
I notice you didn't quote the rest of that: You might find it on internet gaming sites for 14 year olds though. Perhaps you should be hanging out there?
guyser
I notice you didn't quote the rest of that:Why bother, you told me...'Sorry I don't think you'll actually find 'woot' in the dictionary ,even if you google. ...and lo and behold it was. Funny how when people get red faced they throw in another lame parameter.

Funny how my sycophantism (sic) for politicians didn't extend to Bev Oda when she "retired." Even you admit that Ralph Klein isn't "any politician" when you say how influential he was. Looks like what your argument actually supports what I've been saying. You a sycophant? Edited November 16, 2012 by cybercoma
