The Conference Board of Canada ranks our health is 10 our of 17 surveyed in the world, from chronic diseases. Overall. mortality rates are dropping in Canada but diabetes and musculoskeletal, like osteoporosis and arthritis. The problem with diabetes, at least, diabetes 2, certain medications and the junk that in our food can raise ones blood sugar. Most people know that certain drugs have side-effects and those taking statins for high cholesterol, usually have high sugar and bad memory. high cholesterol, doesn't kill you, its the inflammation and oxidation in the artery which creates sticky arteries that fill in and heart attack follows. My view is for a better health care system in this country we NEED to add more of the "natural" doctors on board and let them and the medications they use as part of our health care and covered under the health system. We also, should ban many of the toxics in our food that creates bad health. http://ca.news.yahoo.com/blogs/dailybrew/chronic-diseases-pull-down-canada-grade-conference-board-205531985.html
