The Effect Of Wiki-leaks On Professional Liars.

Recommended Posts

Watching Steve Pakin the other night I came to the conclution that old and young established and unestablished acedemics and those who are diplomats are really bothered by the web whistle blower Wiki-leaks. They rationalize that the cyber whistle blowers have "tossed sand into the gogs of diplomacy" -

Over and over again the guest on Pakins show attempted to create a united front against cyber rats. They complained that the art of diplomacy had been greatly compromised. It became more and more apparent as the interview continued that these people thought that it was a better world when one person could lie to the other with imputnity and vise versa. In my estimation there is no medicine like the truth. It might hurt and taste bad but it will purge the body of poison.

It seems that our aging establishement and new up and coming thinkers who want to enter diplomatic life are preturbed that lieing has gotten such a bad rap. This absurd notion that secrecy is the best policy does not work and has not worked _ If it did we would have seen the positive results abroad and domestically - It is better to tell someone that they are a jerk and not thinking clearly than - pander to them telling them they are wonderful - only as to the dismal of Pakins guest ---- that you are a back stabber...Diplomacy must be more forth right in order to be effective....

You will make better and real friends by telling them the truth. Sure you can make artifical friend by lieing to them - but that does not make for a lasting and useful relationship. Liars always cause problems..the world does not need to legitimise and honour deception..it's just evil...and all the rationalization in the world will not make it other than just that.

One thing about those that belong to some elite group that believe they are entited to the best that the world has to offer. They are not like us. The use of decption to maintain power and wealth is normal. These folks were trained that secrecy and the with holding of key information regarding the maintaining of wealth and status is just the way you do buisness. Hicks like me were brough up like good Christians who told the truth to EVERYONE....and when it comes to money and power I guess that is a huge mistake. The point is that people in power want to have the world believe that they are good and honest people...part of this is self dellusion and the other part is that if found to be a liar no one will trust you .....hence you will be an out sider and not on the higher end of the food chain.

Also take the black robed elite lawyer sect that does so well within our system. They all conspire..they lie to their own clients - betray the trust of anyone they can...then they bow as if they are noble gentlemen and ladies. The black robes live well..they drive a couple of fine cars - they drink fine wine...and they have a thing called the crimminal and litigational code...that no one can understand but them. They convice people that they will translate the secret code at a cost of course...and you give them money for doing something totally useless. Why is it that most politcans all over the world have law degrees...are these the people that are the most to be feared and never trusted...yet we elect them...I don't get it
