msj Posted June 17, 2011 Report Posted June 17, 2011 This might be the worst, but it's not exactly new. All the more reason Vancouver will become a no fun city again: because they deserve it. Quote If a believer demands that I, as a non-believer, observe his taboos in the public domain, he is not asking for my respect but for my submission. And that is incompatible with a secular democracy. Wilber Posted June 17, 2011 Report Posted June 17, 2011 Seems to me like people got what they wanted... that includes businesses in the downtown core. Theyre plan to avoid problems after the riot in 94? Put big screen TV's on the building and try to draw the biggest crowd possible. At the end of the day businesses made way more money selling that mob beer and food than the riots will cost. Most of the businesses that were destroyed or cleaned out had nothing to do with selling beer and food. Quote "Never trust a man who has not a single redeeming vice". WSC
