TTM Posted June 1, 2011 Report Posted June 1, 2011 Regarding war scales, I wasn't thinking along the lines of death tolls, but rather the countries involved, the intricacies and complexity of conflicts. The war on global terrorism, in my view - not to mention conflicts between nations - seems to be much larger in scale when compared to World War II. But then again I might be wrong. Read the report (or at least the overview) I posted regarding the world since WWII. Also read up on WWII. The scale of conflicts in the past is (much) greater than what is happening now on almost any conceivable comparison. Quote

I think some people have a built in need to believe the world is very dangerous,so they dont want to hear that this is one of the most peaceful periods of human history.
