cgarrett Posted June 26, 2004 Report Posted June 26, 2004 i'm having a tough time finding this breaking news on the internet but the cbc is reporting that ralph nader will release a letter shortly advising canadians to not vote for the conservative party of canada. in fact, he is suggesting that if all canadians want to do is punish the liberals then they should vote for the ndp! the election is really getting fun! Goldie Posted June 26, 2004 Report Posted June 26, 2004 This is great, the same people that didn't want regime change in Iraq want the same for Canada, interesting. I wonder why? Quote
Reverend Blair Posted June 26, 2004 Report Posted June 26, 2004 More frightening is that those who wanted regime change in Iraq are so willing to kneel in front of George Bush. The man clearly doesn't swing that way, Stevie...it's time to stand up. Quote
Alliance Fanatic Posted June 26, 2004 Report Posted June 26, 2004 No thanks to American style private health care Do you mean like Oregon style health care or what. Not every state has the same health care system. Their government actually allows freedom for their states to experiment with different systems of health care to see which one is better than that states. Most American's also say no matter what don't do healthcare like Canada. Quote "All animals are equal, but some are more equal than others" - George Orwell's Animal Farm
Alliance Fanatic Posted June 26, 2004 Report Posted June 26, 2004 Ralph Nader seems to agree alot with conservative's in the United States. http://www.amconmag.com/2004_06_21/cover.html Especially with Pat Buchanan the Reform Party candidate in 2000. cgarrett Posted June 26, 2004 Author Report Posted June 26, 2004 actually i've read this article and i don't see pat buchanan agreeing? hes just interviewing... i'm a bit confused as to how naders views are like stephen harpers? nader proposes wiping out taxes for all labor under $100,000. not wiping out more taxes to the upper classes and corporations. is stephen harper going to scrap nafta? his financial supporters would flip! i'd also like to enlighten people that the middle class starts at $70k. there is a huge amount of confusion regarding this. you will meet people everyday making $25k calling themselves middle class.
