Mr.Canada Posted March 12, 2011 Report Posted March 12, 2011 CAIRO — Egypt's new military rulers have ordered the release of two Islamist prisoners jailed over the 1981 assassination of president Anwar Sadat, state TV reported on Friday.Cousins Tareq and Abbud al-Zomor, members of Egypt's Islamic Jihad, were convicted in 1981 for their involvement in Sadat's murder... Islamic fundamentalists had condemned Sadat for being the first Arab leader to sign a peace deal with Israel in 1979. Source This is more scary news coming from Egypt. Are you still sure they want a western style democracy? I wouldn't be so sure about that. They are showing signs of being in bed with Islamic fundamentalists. It could be only a matter of time now before they attack Israel. Quote "You are scum for insinuating that isn't the case you snake." -William Ashley Canadian Immigration Reform Blog

Didn't all the prisoners break out weeks ago, hence the big surge of Hamas personal in Gaza? Quote

Conveniently, you forget the fact that the two individuals in question had been sentenced to 20 years in prison, and that they had been held after their sentenced had expired. And that they will be subjected to a five-year surveillance period.source As far as I am concerned, they should have been sentenced to life in the first place, but... you were saying again? Quote
