Topaz Posted February 14, 2011 Report Posted February 14, 2011 Christiane Ouimet, has refused to appear before the Commons Public Accounts Committee last Tuesday. Her job was to protect government whistle blowers who disclose government wrong doing and she had 228 complaints which she only acted on 5. She retired after 3 years on the jobs and no one has seen or heard from her since. She has had government officials visit her home to talk to her but no contract has been made on her part. I think, she could have the RCMP make a visit to force her to attend the committee meeting. Didn't we go through this before? http://www.canada.com/topics/news/national/Disgraced+bureaucrat+Christiane+Ouimet+keeping+profile/4254563/story.html Quote

Ever know anyone that suddenly went on a trip where ABSOLUTELY NOBODY knew where they were or how to get a message to them in an emergency? Me neither. Arrest the little bitch if she refuses to appear. Another Conservative Party of Canada success story - having the person protecting government whistleblowers flee the country and fight "extradition on basis of summons" Oh the irony. Quote I was here.
