Topaz Posted February 9, 2011 Report Posted February 9, 2011 The Tories apparently raised 17.5 million in donations of $1100. but that would only be about 15-16,000 people who did and I read they had over 5 million votes in the last election so I wonder who were these 15,-16000. Could it be each of the members their families, CEO's and families, maybe their workers??? http://www.hilltimes.com/dailyupdate/view/75 Quote

Of the Limit last year 1,754,607 or (10.1%)of the Tories monies were at the 1100 level while the Liberals had 1,503,708 or (22.8%) so if you are asking who is buying a party it is the Liberals who are being bought. I will point out now 215,809 or (5.0%) of the NDPs money was at the 1100 level. If we look at the bottom though we find at less then 200 dollar donations the Tories are 11,406,931 or (65.5%) the Liberals are 3,055,949 or (46.3%) and the NDP is 2,834,808 (65.0%) again it shows the Liberals are the bought party. Sorry dude you clearly don't understand the numbers and are calling the kettle black unless you vote NDP that is because it is clear which party needs those 1100 donations and which don't. Quote
