Jerry J. Fortin Posted October 4, 2010 Report Posted October 4, 2010 Speaking of our national debt, why don't we nationalize it? I think privatizing our national was a terrible idea. At least if we nationalized the debt, we would owe the money to ourselves. Better to just modify the position of the Bank of Canada. Central banking is here to stay, and so is the fractional reserve system so why not just re-regulate the industry to take advantage of the opportunity to make a few bucks and straighten out the monetary system within the nation. Then nationalize the debt through an income tax levy as a last act before eliminating the CRA altogether. There are ways to do things outside of the box. Quote

We really should get rid of fractional reserve banking. Inflation is a hidden tax and more often then not do wages rise enough to compensate. Central banks too is a terrible idea though it does look like they are here for the time being.
