Saipan Posted September 29, 2010 Report Posted September 29, 2010 (edited) Seems you don't feel 50% of the population should be represented on police forces at all. Police is here to serve us. Not for some representation. "Equal Opportunity" employment is the reason RCMP became so mediocre. Take the Vancouver airport case for example. Looks like now they can even lie under oath. What message is that for the rest of the population? Edited September 29, 2010 by Saipan Quote
bloodyminded Posted September 29, 2010 Report Posted September 29, 2010 Police is here to serve us. Not for some representation. "Equal Opportunity" employment is the reason RCMP became so mediocre. Take the Vancouver airport case for example. Looks like now they can even lie under oath. What message is that for the rest of the population? True, the officers who went trigger-happy on the tasers were women who had gotten their jobs through Equal Opportun...no, wait. They weren't. So it's fascinating that women RCMP officers (and "political correctness") are responsible for this incident. It's difficult to follow the logic, but since you state it declaratively, it must be true. Quote As scarce as truth is, the supply has always been in excess of the demand. --Josh Billings
Saipan Posted September 29, 2010 Report Posted September 29, 2010 True, the officers who went trigger-happy on the tasers were women No, the main culprit and liar was a Jamaican. As for women, gun of one of those little policepersons was used by a male criminal right in court room to kill three people including judge. He simply took it away from her and even got away after the shooting. Quote
bloodyminded Posted September 29, 2010 Report Posted September 29, 2010 No, the main culprit and liar was a Jamaican. You can prove this, presumably. As for women, gun of one of those little policepersons was used by a male criminal right in court room to kill three people including judge. He simply took it away from her and even got away after the shooting. But you want to add to the "evidence" by including situations--like the Vancouver tasering one--that has nothing to do with women. On a related note, left-wing political correctness was also responsible for the Medieval Plague years. Quote As scarce as truth is, the supply has always been in excess of the demand. --Josh Billings
Saipan Posted September 29, 2010 Report Posted September 29, 2010 You can prove this, presumably. Prove daily television news? Of course. But you want to add to the "evidence" by including situations--like the Vancouver tasering one--that has nothing to do with women. That is your claim. You prove I mentioned women in that case and all is fine. On a related note, left-wing political correctness was also responsible for the Medieval Plague years. You're wrong. That was G.W. Bush. bloodyminded Posted September 29, 2010 Report Posted September 29, 2010 (edited) Prove daily television news? Of course. Hmmm. This odd side-step looks suspiciously unlike actual proof. You see, when someone asks for you to back up your declarative statements, that means they are asking for some evidence. Not more unsubstantiated assertions. And yours would be easy to prove--that "the main culprit and liar was a Jamaican." If that is the case, it is demonstrable. So, demonstrate it. That is your claim. You prove I mentioned women in that case and all is fine. This thread has had a lot of comments about "politically correct" hiring procedures among women. You then chimed in about political correctness--and used the Vancouver incident for an example. But ok--you didn't mean women; you meant Jamaicans. Again: prove it, and then, as you say, all is fine. Saipan Posted September 29, 2010 Report Posted September 29, 2010 And yours would be easy to prove--that "the main culprit and liar was a Jamaican." If that is the case, it is demonstrable. So, demonstrate it. Can you demonstrate you're not watching TV news? Can you post pics of the officers involved with specific roles and command? And their testimony under oath? I noticed you didn't really deny it. You only ask me to re-run the well known news clips for you here. Right? Quote
