You're being purposely dishonest. It's fun to catch you in a blatant lie.

The 9 that were approved by the Senate aren't on the list I provided. I provided only new Obama created Czar positions. LEARN HOW TO READ.

24 newly created Czar positions by the Obama administration. That's a fact.

Really Shady because you include the chief performance officer ("government performance czar") and the deputy interior secretary ("California water czar") BOTH APPROVED BY THE SENATE!

You included Positions like the one I cited which aren't even appointed by the president. The special advisor to the EPA overseeing its Great Lakes restoration plan is appointed by the EPA. Or the Guantanamo Closure Czar which is appointed by the State department.

Those are just a few of the examples you would have found out you were wrong about if you ACTUALLY READ! Seriously Shady why should anyone trust your terrible research which isn't cited? They shouldn't thought so.

Again you fail to address GOP senator Shelby holding the country hostage too get 35 billion of government money into his friends pockets.

Time to pull out that ol' constitution there. The President does not have the power to simply appoint, that durned ol' Senate's got a say. Maybe you should pose that question in reverse.

Welcome to the checks and balances of the American constitution. A beauty to behold.

Beauty is not the term I would use. Barely organized chaos would do better. And this sort of blackmail cum horse trading is the reason why the US budget is always larded with massive and often pointless programs which push the US ever deeper into debt.

It's funny when you see Republicans constantly decry the budget deficits yet act like kids with found money whenever they get their hands on that budget.

And there is no way one single senator ought to be able to hold up such confirmations in a sane system. As you say, the senate gets to approve nominations, but the Senate is not being given the opportunity to vote on them.

"A liberal is someone who claims to be open to all points of view — and then is surprised and offended to find there are other points of view.” William F Buckley
