Argus Posted September 9, 2009 Report Posted September 9, 2009 The deficit is the issue. The Tories are likely to have respond with the actual policies on it or risk losing their own base. The Liberals are not dumb enough to make the deficit the issue. They bear too much responsibility for it, and their own election promises are always filled with expensive goodies. Since the Tories are said to be coming up with a plan to respond on what they would do on the deficit, it would seem that is being considered the main issue. Quote

I think the government has to take that angle, and I think the opposition would do well to use it as a corner stone. Quote
