WIP Posted June 16, 2009 Report Posted June 16, 2009 You won't get any disagreement from me there except you forget that unfettered immigration from poor to rich countries is something encouraged by socialist anti-religious forces. This has a least as much impact on GHG emissions as having more children in developing countries. The problem is that birth rates are on the rise in many of these African, Asian and Latin American countries where the religious, conservative tag team of the Catholic Church and Islamic leaders have dismantled birth control programs......providing an endless supply of potential immigrants. enviralment Posted July 13, 2009 Report Posted July 13, 2009 Although Carbon -tax, cap programs are something of a mystery to us right now they will be part of our energy market in a couple of years. Beyond this what we need to talk about is the inability of renewables to make up a significant part of our energy mix and the failure of the Ontario provincial government to look at our energy situation with some pragmatism. No Nuclear but a lot of new natural gas factories. does that make sense? Quote I support a pragmatic approach to our energy mix. Include Nuclear and support Canadian technology!
