eHealth Ontario exec steps down amid contract scandal

The head of eHealth Ontario has stepped down as the provincial agency continues to be bombarded with allegations of misspending and mismanagement.

Sarah Kramer, CEO and president of eHealth, stepped down after the eHealth board recommended late Saturday that she be removed as the agency's CEO.

Kramer had been accused of awarding friends and Liberal supporters $5 million in untendered contracts.

She has also been criticized for taking a $114,000 bonus on top of her $380,000 salary even though she had just been on the job for three months.

Saw here picture today - not impressed. Who installs these arrogant and shallow jerks into these powerful corporate postions? And why in a nation of laws and codes of ethic...do we allow a person that in eccense robbed the people - and is STILL rewarded for the evil...talk about a warped and crazed community of weasils that have taken over parts of our system..What is astounding is that it seems to be a trend - and just as I suspected - the best and the most honourable are persecuted while the worst and most stupid and corrupt are put on a throne! Time to reach into our bag of human resourses and find some good people to managed the system..before it's to late. We CAN end up like Mexico - or worst - North Korea - unless we clean house immediately - do we want heaven on earth or hell ?---------------YOUR DECISION. Institutionalized robbery leads to slavery and abuse of all.
