"International Trade in Culture Goods," the agency reported that Canada exported just under $2 billion of cultural goods in 2007. Even though less Canadian-made products were being sent overseas, in the same year, imports of foreign-made products totalled nearly $4 billion, Statistics Canada said."

Harper was 'bang on the money' and should not have agreed to demands that cultural funding be restored.

It seems Canadian culture ain't to popular in Canada or elsewhere.
