jdobbin Posted September 18, 2008 Report Posted September 18, 2008 http://firstread.msnbc.msn.com/archive/200...18/1415527.aspx "'She doesn't have any foreign policy credentials,' Hagel said in an interview. 'You get a passport for the first time in your life last year? I mean, I don't know what you can say. You can't say anything.'"Check out this other Hagel line: "'I think they ought to be just honest about it and stop the nonsense about, "I look out my window and I see Russia and so therefore I know something about Russia,"' he said. 'That kind of thing is insulting to the American people.'" And this one: "'I think it's a stretch to, in any way, to say that she's got the experience to be president of the United States,' Hagel said." Tina Fey was particularly good at skewering Palin with her own words. Trust a comedian to know how to deal with a politician of any stripe or gender. Quote
the janitor Posted September 25, 2008 Report Posted September 25, 2008 There are several similarities between Palin and Theodore Roosevelt. Not that there aren't differences, but no one can make the claim that lack of experience necessarily disqualifies someone from the office of President. Quote

Of course they can make such a claim....it's a free country. Maybe in Canada that is illegal "hate speech", but perfectly OK in the US of A. Quote Economics trumps Virtue.

Human rights Commissions come out with stupid statements all the time. They are just government approved stupid statements. Quote
