Yup, you could just feel the warm fuzzy feelings with the camera panning across Paul Martins Face in shear disbelief.

Today Elizabeth May, Stephane Dion’s candidate in Central Nova made the shocking remark that Quebeckers should vote for BQ separatists rather than federalist Conservatives. (Le Devoir, May 14, 2008).

“It is finally time for Stephane Dion to show some leadership and end his coalition with Elizabeth May, a person that is now advocating for Quebecers to vote for the separatists,” said Conservative Member of Parliament, Christian Paradis. “Stephane Dion’s liberal candidate, Elizabeth May either doesn’t know that the Bloc wants to break up Canada or worse yet, simply doesn’t care about putting her own radical political agenda ahead of a united Canada."

I'm not a big fan of Dion, but trying to smear him with Elizabeth May's words is undeserved. If there's one good thing about Dion (I can't think of two) it is that he's a strong federalist.

Doesn't reflect well on May though. If she had half a brain, she would have said "If you don't like the conservatives, vote green."
