Leafless Posted February 8, 2008 Report Posted February 8, 2008 (edited) Ten high profile PNU and ODM personalities have been banned from traveling to the United States over alleged links to the post-poll violence, The Standard has learnt. An excellent and timely measure especially in the wake of U.S. elections. http://www.eastandard.net/news/?id=1143981534&cid=4 Edited February 9, 2008 by Leafless Quote

Leafless Posted February 8, 2008 Author Report Posted February 8, 2008 Meaning what exactly? That they would try and institute violence in the upcoming Nov elections in the US? Obviously, the U.S could be thinking the same thing or something that could be detrimental to the election process. Why else a ban at this time with Canada also implementing its own ban. Quote
guyser Posted February 8, 2008 Report Posted February 8, 2008 Why else a ban at this time with Canada also implementing its own ban. I uh suspect they dont want them in thier countries because they are violent people. ...but thats just an educated hunch. ....as for your hunch, lets hear it. Quote

I suspect they don't want anyone in the U.S. from Kenya that contributed towards the violence, but are not necessary physically violent themselves.-OK Quote
BubberMiley Posted February 9, 2008 Report Posted February 9, 2008 I don't think they would necessarily want violent people at any time--not just in election years. Quote "I think it's fun watching the waldick get all excited/knickers in a knot over something." -scribblet
