  1. My comment was directed to Bonam who was suggesting that the chosen race and the chosen people are all wise while others are useless and destructive. you caught the irony there.
  2. funny, my American friend asked me that same question when I said canadains are not violent, then he started telling me about Robert Pickton.
  3. I don’t think you should argue anymore. As I said earlier all you do is rant. I would be surprised if you got a high school diploma. You have no knowledge of any historical events or facts, you don’t know anything about international relations, and know nothing about international laws. Nevertheless, I will quiz you if you want to prove yourself. What is the legality of Israel’s blockade of Gaza?
  4. One reported said that the ships had building supplies which were going to be used to fix water wells. Any building supplies that help the Gazans are prohibited
  5. Borg, you are referring to anyone against Israel is anti-Semitic. We know they had a bad history but that is no excuse for making other people’s lives more miserable. How would anyone feel if they lived in a prison where they are not allowed to feed themselves and their resources are only limited to what the guards decide. Try this: You are not allowed to eat at Mcdonalds for the next 2 years, doing that will because you pain. I promise you will lose Wight but you are not allowed to have 1 cup of milk per day that is with one tea spoon of sugar. You can’t have anyone trying to rescue you, report back in 2 years.
  6. Ok dancer, I promised you we will be dancing soon. That’s the excuse you find for the killing of unarmed activists? It seems that you are ignorant of the facts and what really happened, have you actually read a single article about this issue? it seems you have been so brainwashed by your high school music club that you lost your sense of judgement. I haven’t seen you provide one valid argument in this thread against facts. It’s clear that the IDF prepared for several weeks for this mission to send a threatening message to the world. “We can do whatever we want”. Your thought process is like this: International always applies if it benefits dancing and they are shit if they don’t (Blockade has to be respected but violation of international waters never). You gota fix your arguments I will wait for more information before making further comments.
  7. I can’t agree with eyeball because I haven’t figured out what he is really saying but I don’t like Dancing either. Eyeball, the conspiracy theories of Illuminati or the scheme of one world government seems very fictional to be true. Major empires have fallen and it’s just stupid for a bunch of smart people rely on such a government. Dancer, all you have done is bash eyeball...I can’t find anything useful you said in this thread. Back to the topic, a violent act is not referred to as terrorism by the media if a Muslim person is not involved. US Media certainly mastered this concept which is why people have a false perception of terrorism. This is not surprising at all.
  8. Since when does Westbank belong to Israel? Please Enlighten Us.
  9. You implied that MAJORITY of the Muslims in the west are radical in your view, look at your first and second post. Again,if you are concerned about what goes on in religious schools in the west, you have to include the issue of abuse in catholic schools and zionist teachings in Jewish schools. Otherwise, your argument fails. (I dont want to digg Youtube and Google for videos). It seems to be me that you haven't researched this topic well enough to raise such concern.
  10. Well...you should never be emotional when debating a serious issue... What separates Nato soldiers from Taliban soldiers is that Nato are fighting on people's sides while Talibans are not. "they don’t have the will to fight" It has been 9 years now...can you please tell me how many years will it take for their will to diminish??? -I wouldn’t want them to abandon Afghan mission entirely. it should remain a rebuilding mission. No Canadian would want the history to say Canada left Afghanistan just US left Iraq.
  11. ArmyGuy, that was a lengthy reply, again based on emotional response. I think what you meant to say was 'Why should we give them any rights when they won’t give us any'... Well, if we don’t then what’s the difference between them and us?? They have a mission to destroy us and we have the mission to destroy them. Besides, these accidents directly affect the lives of the locals which create more problems for the Army. Winning the hearts of the locals is the key to success in these wars, not pissing them off like that. I still don’t agree that the killing in the video was anything like an accident. If it’s still an accident then it shows how loose US ROE is. I want to see a response supporting this mission from the US Army; so far, most senior officers have condemned the soldiers. Canada may have been dragged into a combat war but our mission is not to stay there and play hide and seek with insurgents for another 5 years; that is why there is a pullout date. There is a lot of politics and history involved in handling the war in Afghanistan and its better if we stick to humanitarian missions and rebuild the country. I am happy that you are proud of your service and as long as Canadian soldiers stick to their duties, I support them. CBC regularly covers Canada’s rebuilding mission. They often interview officers during their missions. They also reported on schools & hospitals built and aid provided by the Canadian soldiers.
  12. ArmyGuy, you are becoming emotional and over reading my comments. I never said that the US army has always lied; I said they did not tell the truth in this instance and a 3rd party, like the UN should have done the investigation. I am open to reading your view if it’s logical. Would you support 38 civilian kills per maybe/maybe not 2 insurgents if those were insurgents? What makes you think those 2 were in fact insurgents, the early investigation concluded that they were all insurgents. Again, I didn’t say warzone for soldiers is not harsh…War zone is a dangerous environment. It’s just that soldiers always have backup and stay together, journalists are alone and don’t have any equipment to call for help or defend themselves. You did indicate that you would serve a 4th term as a soldier but not as a journalist, you know better. I can feel that due to your long service and possibly the loss of your team members, your feeling is that there is no meaning to human rights in a warzone situation…that is more of an emotional response than a logical one. Canada is on a humanitarian mission to restore the lives of those people, it shouldn’t be involved in anything that violates human rights…I just hope the allegations are not true. You are a patriot and believe that all Canadians would support Canada’s mission, FAIL. I support Canada’s mission but I wouldn’t want them to act like the soldiers in the video. By saying ‘we’, I was referring to Canadians, anything wrong with that? It seems that you are paranoid about the Canadian media. CBC is a lot more balanced than Fox or CNN. They do report on successful missions and I appreciate that.
  13. The report was made by the US army...Do you expect them to blame their men?? We know a lot about how honest authorities can be about their actions....Accidents have boundaries. They hear things all the time...It’s a ruined city. When I play Call of Duty, I shoot at anything and everything that makes a noise. "but a million dollars...I’d do a 4th tour...." So, it is about money for you. I know the Canadian Army is paying well. These journalists are in a lot more danger than the soldiers because they are not armed and have to report alone. They don’t get paid anything close to a customer service rep working in McDonalds (read about war journalism on Google). Interpreters/translators are a different case and they go there just for the money and I think that was your view. Let me refresh your mind. There is something called human rights which every person in the world is entitled to even if they are accused of crimes. I know the Canadian Army is not anything like the US army but we don’t have a clean record either. This issue is being discussed in the parliament right now, we will see it here soon. I got the feeling that you dont like the papers???
  14. Accidents in combats are acceptable but the soldiers in this video are just looking for a reason to shoot. An accident would be if there was a weapon and those Iraqis were from the national Army. If this incident is even close to an accident then what is stopping those soldiers to just go around killing civilians and declare it an accident. Furthermore; if it was an accident there would be no censorship of the video and the US army would not attempt to cover it up. Many US Army officers have said that this was a total violation of ROE and not an accident (check reports on Google News). If I had seen someone shooting as called by one soldier in the video, my comments would have been different but it’s clear that there was no offensive from the ground. The chopper was in the view for a while and insurgents would have responded. You seem to have no knowledge of the dangers that journalists face in warzones. Would you put your life on the line every day if I pay you a million dollar or would you let your son take the job? My comment about the Canadian Army was in reference to the handling of the Afghan prisoners by the Canadian Army.
  15. This is more of a hate thread; you searched and found some videos to justify murder without even looking at them as you admitted. Mr. Canada, I checked your previous posts all the way to a few pages and I am certain you picked the wrong nickname. Please enlighten me about your educational background. I wasn’t happy to read your post about buying stones and getting out of Canada. thats not a Canadian view.
  16. I don’t think any of you watched the video. There is nothing that looks anything like a RPG , just an excuse to shoot. It looks like the soldiers can’t wait for permission to shoot and kill...one of them is even begging to shoot...run over dead bodies, refuse to take the children to a proper hospital...These soldiers are zombie armies, brainwashed and often go mental when hey return from their service. It looks like the call of Duty game, so fun to kill/shoot. The only problem is these people are real humans. I just hope this kind of misconduct is not allowed in the Canadian warfront. LOL@...
  17. Mr. Canada, I would have to disagree with you again...I am more concerned about the conclusions you derive from your statements. "You are either with me or against me". There is more to things than you see that should be considered. I totally agree with bloodyminded here.
  18. That’s a wild conclusion to make from your criticism. Just because one doesn’t agree with you doesn’t necessarily mean he is against you. P1: Do you like hockey? P2: No, I don’t like hockey, I play baseball. P1: Huh? you are against me.
  19. I wonder if he predicted that he would face something like this. Why didn’t he just pt a disclaimer in his show to say that this is for entertainment purposes but nevertheless he should be released. My first post here, So Hello.
