Thanks for the reply, I am aware of that option for feedback and plan to give some. It's just so frustrating because the general public didn't really have any good way to learn about this until just recently; which is unbelievable considering it has been in the works since 2008. Seems like a ploy to negate potential negative feedback to try and stop the policy. It's just really infuriating to me as well being a type 1 diabetic whom literally suffered a life-threatening diabetic seizure last weekend. An extra 30 minute wait could have put my life in jeopardy.

Essentially, McMaster University's ER service will become child only, serving only those who are under 18 years of age. The area of Hamilton that this hospital is located in is absolutely dominated by people who are 18+. Most of these are university students in addition to a large number of elderly. There are many old folks homes in the area, and many elder residents chose to locate in this area in Hamilton specifically because of the proximity to the hospital. People over 18 who are suffering a life-threatening emergency that are brought to McMaster's hospital will need to be rerouted to hospitals either up the mountain or in downtown Hamilton. If this isn't infuriating enough, the job they have done with regards to informing the public of this change is absolutely pathetic. Consequently, a great deal of people unaware of this change will attend this hospital and waste precious time before being rerouted that could be the difference between life and death.

What a bogus argument, not to mention you contradict yourself by admitting that Union benefits are strong which you earlier denied. Make up your mind.

I know exactly what you're talking about as I live in Georgetown. It is really frustrating to see all the people from Brampton there causing huge wait times in the waiting room there. And as a result of this, many of the Georgetownians end up going to the Milton hospital instead to avoid insane wait times.

I do know this and I am no way arguing it. You completely failed to address my implications. The whole issue with collective bargaining is that as Walker leaves, the unions will collectively bargain for themselves to be right back where they were before this whole debate.

The benefits that public sector employees receive are so unimaginably large that tax payers won't be able to pay them off in the future. The union will end up causing its own demise by its ludicrous policy regarding these unsustainable benefits that will be unpayable in the future. And guess who's going to lose out, the taxpayers and the public sector employees; not the public sector unions.

Based on semantics, Jane & Finch probably does not qualify as a ghetto. However, this area is notorious in the GTA for being one of the worst places to live with high levels of crime.

It is quite obvious that not all muslims are extremists. However, that does not change the fact that a large amount of muslim immigrants coming to Canada are purposely taking advantage of Canada's "political correctness" to get exactly what they want, much more than any other group of immigrants that Canada has seen in the past. My mother works for the CRA and has witnessed what has been going on there for years. Many people working there have no problem openly expressing their beliefs that every non-muslim is an infidel. They climb the ranks by crying "rascism" when something doesn't go their way, and because we are so politically correct, we give in to their childish complaints. And this is certainly not the case for all muslims, there are many great muslims just like in every culture or religion. However, the frequency at which this sort of stuff seems to happen, in relation to Muslim people is quite astounding.

Sure, but I highly doubt that this is entirely to blame for the clear excess of packaging in many food products.

A long time gripe of mine has been how food companies will package their foods with so much excess packaging it is insane. It's annoying enough to buy a bag of chips and open it up to find that only half the bag is filled. However, I think the even bigger issue is the excess waste that this creates, and consequently, the increased damage on our environment this causes. I don't know how regulations that deal with this issue can be put in place, but it is clear to me that if we wish to aid the environment, this would be a great place to start.

Of course not, they're protected by freedom of speech while they seek to limit that same freedom for those whom are different.

So according to you people shouldn't critique possible causes of negative phenomenon because doing so is offensive?
