A lot of people speak about it, I'm curious to have your thoughts on that. I would say that the immigrant has to: Speak English (French if he's in Quebec in my opinion). Know a little about Canada's culture (food, radio shows, t.v., history, politics, economy, geography) Have Canadian friends. Not only speak with people from his country of origin. After a certain time feel Canadian (tough this is not the most important one). Respect the law, if you don't respect it you could pay the consequences, whoever you are and wherever you're from. -------- Also, do you think that to be Canadian you need to be White and Christian. As I said it many times before, when someone is a White Canadian and he does something wrong, it's because he's a bad person or has some issues. I'm just as Canadian as you, except that I'm not an ignorant that has been educated by T.V. It's not about all Muslims as I said. I'm French Canadian, my first language is French. I also speak English, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic and Italian. It's a a forum, so I don't spend time looking at grammar. It's better to make some mistakes and say something intelligent, than saying stupid things with nice words, as you do. Your argumentation is basically ''googling'' everything and giving us some stats that are meaningless. When you'll be able to speak another language than English and write it, you'll be able to speak. Mr ''cool guy because he uses correct punctuation in forums''!
