You have no clue how it's supposed to work obviously. A Christian marriage is not so simplistic. A husband and wife are one. A wife has her own feelings and opinions. In a discussion she brings them to the husband and they talk it over until they come to a full agreement on how to carry forward. Then the husband acts as the messenger of their decision and becomes the "public face" if you will, of that decision. The chauvinism that you describe is wrong, it's disgusting, it's a Sin. Has Tim Horton's marketing succeeded in blinding you or are you just being funny and ignoring the foreign ownership just because Wendy's happened to spin off Tim Horton's in 2006? Canada is almost American anyway. Most of our culture, books, magazines, TV, movies, etc. are American. Canadians WANT American things. We have to legislate that our TV and radio play a certain percentage of Canadian artists also why does Walmart do so well and Zellars doesn't? I've shopped in both and Walmart is much better run that's why. Even our "all that is Canadian" Tim Hortons is an American company. It's owned by Wendy's. You can't negotiate with Islamic people as we have seen. Why aren't the citizens of Afghanistan and Iraq turning on the fighters and helping us get rid of them? They obviously support them to some extend. The reason they are so tricky to deal with is because you can't tell the bad from the good. They also fight dirty and sneaky which you would expect since it's a war and all and there aren't really rules on how you can fight. So they are a hard target to find. The allies are fighting over there like it's peace time. We need to be in there destroying the bad guys as if it was the first couple weeks of the war. Hunt them viciously. If the citizens don't want that to continue then they can support us or be hunted. The citizens can help us in surveillance and turning in anyone that is against us.

Israel left the Gaza strip in 2005 to promote peace. That wasn't good enough for the Palestinians and they attacked Israel. Palestinians do not want peace, they only want Israel gone. I support any actions Israel needs to use to protect themselves and bring peace and stability to the region.

The judge rejected that part just because they left a balance owing to the EI account when they moved money from EI to the general revenue fund to pay down to balance the books. So they still took the money but because they left an IOU they aren't in the wrong. Well the books weren't that balanced then were they? The methods they used to raise the premiums where found to be wrong by the court. So what happened was the Liberals illegally made it very hard for Canadians down on their luck to get EI so they could have a huge surplus in the EI fund. They then took money from that fund and moved it to another account to make it look like they balanced the books. So Harper can't be attacked for running a deficiet this next year as the Liberals had a deficit also but just hid for a while until now as they have been caught.

Canada without Quebec would be a far more conservative nation. It was Quebec that blocked our country from having the conservative majority it deserves. Canada doesn't need Quebec. The province is an anchor around our neck. More than 97% of the Canadian population that live outside of Quebec are being discriminated against because of our bilingualism policies. All they do is threaten their citizens if there isn't french on their signs. Also the french letters better be bigger than the English letters! They cost us a fortune to have to have everything written up in two languages. When we make laws for Canada we have to run them by Quebec and may have to change them a little to make Quebec happy so we then have a law for Canada and special version just for Quebec. Also I saw some good points about the exodus of some of it's population making it even smaller. And don't even think the native population isn't going to be causing a huge headache for the new independent nation. Although I have a feeling Quebec would just say too bad and would not make any deals af any kind with natives.

I would vote for the Conservatives. They would most likely get a majority this time after the crap that has gone on this month. With a majority they would not have to wimp out on some policies and could go ahead and make changes that I would like to see including the following. End the party welfare payments and have each party earn their own election funds. Have Senate seats elected Have Supreme Court judges elected Pass a unborn victims of crime act of some kind Adjust CBC's funding to what it deserves, $0.00. Make Quebec equal to the other provinces and stop the special treatment and bills made just for them. Have an actual vote by the people of Canada on gay marriage. He wimped out holding another vote only in Parliament as a minority government so when he lost he could throw up his hands and say "Oh well, I tried!". There are others but I forget at the moment.
