  1. Is it? I've always thought the bible was the translation of interpretation of a translation that is updated regularly to meet the ever changing grammar over the years. There is also no publicly known original text of the bible either. I've compared a couple versions of the bible and there are several subtle differences through out the entire bible. Which makes me wonder which one is more accurate?
  2. Cutting taxes helps, but it only helps in the short term. By doing so, we'll be putting our burden on our children and their generation.
  3. apparently numbers taken from a Dec 5th article is considered newly released. http://www.ottawacitizen.com/news/todays-p...4457/story.html
  4. As far as I could tell, that is technically not an insult. Although clarification is required. Not everyone with a full-time job has the time to follow politics. It is even safe to assume a majority are "uneducated and ignorant" to a great deal of facts readily available to them. A widely used political tool in the US is controlling the different headlines in newspapers to create misinformation and mislead the general population. We can see this happening when Harper is referring to the missing flags in the signing of the coalition.
  5. Ah, what I meant was that the Liberal - NDP - Bloc will be working together and supporting each other on key issues. There are numerous ways to spin it but that fact remains.
  6. With the recent political events, my interests in Canadian Politics is increasing with each day. However, my knowledge of politics is fairly limited. With that disclaimer out of the way... What makes the Liberal-NDP-BQ Coalition so wrong on a fundamental level? As I'm not bias towards any party, and I understand a bit about how forming a coalition with a separatist party is a bad idea. But could you please ignore that fact for a moment and focus how it is fundamentally wrong to remove a governing party that has lost the confidence of the parliament and has decided to join together to form an alternative government. I don't understand why that is so bad or is it that I'm missing the point completely?
  7. if Harper prorogue's parliament... would it not be possible for the coaltion to call an emergency session considering the current stimulus package, or rather lack of.
