I agree with the Russians and for certain companies to be able to control seeds for food is completely wrong. Those MG seeds can only be planted once, that means that if one had a garden and wanted to save the seeds for next year, they don't transplant , which gives these companies the power of FOOD to the world. Besides , we don't know how these foods that comes from these seeds will react to Human Beings. These seeds DNA are changed and so when HBeings eat them could that change our DNA. Too many unanswered questions about this. I imagine that many of the countries politicians have money invested in those companies and perhaps greed wins over common sense?

What's the difference in the Tories spending taxpayers dollar doing the same to other groups and what CBC is accused of doing?? Both parties should spend their own but isn't that what CBC is doing, and the Tories should spend money out of their party fund, since it more about THEM and not about the benefit to Canadians.

One of the ads shows robots doing the work at a manufacturing plant , which means no humans are benefitting from the tax dollars being spent.. The Tories must have caught that, cause I don't see it on any more. Personally, I'm sick of them, they run them too many times and every time I see one I think of were that money could be going, like the 400,000 unemployed young people!

Then, in 2011,, We REALLY REALLY mean it this time.. the "People want change".. and Stephen Harper gets the Majority....
So, let me get this straight... You REALLY REALLY mean Canada,, and the people REALLY want change this time?? Or as opposed to "Canada" wanting change... is it maybe the few that wonder "where the money went" want change... cuz most of us understand how it was handled...

Im ok with spending 91 million on an election..... Its better than the additional 400 billion in spending now.... Cus we all know... Ontario can afford it right?
And I voted liberal in the last 2 Ontario elections... Im now done with fraud, bribery and whatever else the NDP and Liberals are offering
Time for an election...
So, does that hold true for the next federal election too, not voting Tory??????

Apparently, there another way for women or couples who don't want to have another child, its called "the angel crib". What it is when the woman goes into hospital to have the child, if for any reason they don't want the child, they can place it in the crib and no questions will be asked. and the child is place in adoption. I've never heard about this before but I was listening to a program and this is done in other countries. The only problem I see is the health records for the child if they do not know the parent or their health issues in their families. Now on the other side of this issue, people who are against abortion aren't really against it because they always say in case of incest or the woman's health they agree with it. Isn't that trying to get it both ways.

Yes, that's right and today in Parliament the Liberals tracked it until 2004, 2005 election year and 2006 Tory era. The Tories can't or won't say were it is and now people are wondering if they spent it on G8, G20, or else where. NO goverment can't say its there without proving where it is.

If by chance Harper did get another majority is will probably be for the 250,000 yearly immigrants, they have let in since 2006 and that a lot of graceful voters.

It just so happens today, that Dr OZ is going to have one of these people on his show and they are going to look into their brains compared to rest of us. I'm wondering haven't any of you had a thought good or bad about a person or event and it came true??

In my view, this time around the Tories have two giants items against them in the court of public opinion, the first is Pierre Poutine, and the second is the missing or misplace 3Billion. Then there's always the people want change agenda.

I've read that in order to make Turbines appear to contribute to Ontario's energy grid the Liberals have told the people at Niagara Falls to scale back production. Wind power isn't really a reliable form of energy, water going over a waterfall between two gigantic lakes is.
The CEO of Bruce was on TVO, and he said most people don't know most of the power now is coming from the nukes and not the Falls.

Pay the money and get out, it will be cheaper in the long run. The libs want to grow the turbines by 10 fold.
So, what's the difference the two? In the end its us taxpayers that get the shaft.

PIK, pretend you are Hudak, now its a known fact that he wants to stop the wind turbines, so you say, I'm stopping all future wind turbines and you win the election on that. Days later, you find out that IF you cancel ALL future contracts of wind turbines, the provinces pays a bills of $500-900 million. So what are you going to do, cancel or tell Ontario, sorry can't do. See, this is were politicians get themselves in a whole lot of trouble.

In QP, Clements was really getting heated up over questions the NDP kept asking about the misplaced, lost, spent money. He even blamed them for not asking the questions in 2000-09 about the public accounts. Harper has had to deal with alot of things that went wrong with the chretien goverment. He has to spend alot of his time cleaning up the boondoggles and mess;s left by the chretien goverment. So what did chretien do for 13 years?
Pobably cleaning up after Mulroney and his wild spending.

Is there an election coming very soon? If so, who do you think would do a better job looking after the debt, but also the people of Ontario. Hudak, seems to want to be a Harper-like politician, coming down hard on unions, freezing pay cheque of provincial workers, which I hope includes , himself It feels like a re-born of the Harris government He also, wants to stop all wind turbines, but if the contracts are signed that penalty on those could reach 500 million, just like the gas-hydro plants.On the other side, the NDP. The NDP leader seems to know what Ontarian want or need, that being tax credit to businesses who hire, reduce hydro rates, car insurance. etc. As far as the Liberals, I don't think they stand chance but anything can happen in an election. So what's the Pro and the Cons of the parties, in your view?

Funny thing about that 3 Billion, it just so happens that the taxes at the border for goods coming in will be 3 billion yearly, as it was pointed out on Thursday in Parliament. The Tories have gone too far with their out right lying and when the oppositions ask about the money missing they just become "Turnaround Tories" and blame someone else .

There's bad and good in unions , just like there bad and good corporations and even governments. The reason the unions started was to protect workers rights from greedy corporation at the time. I think most views of people who really don't like them is they are envious, of not having the same work benefits, which I think ALL workers should have the same benefits in Canada. Why do we have to take away from workers , instead of upping the benefits. Corporation are the ones running countries and they are out to get rid of them and then workers will becomes slaves with no benefits and very low wage, is that what union haters want?

The Tories may have gotten to Dion and Iggy but its a different ball with Justin and more Canadians are behind him than the other two and I'm not saying he's going to win the election in 2015. I think Harper is the kind guy that doesn't like losing and since he just celebrated his 54 birthday, I think if it looks like one of the other leaders is going to win, he'll say he retiring from politics before the election.

The way I look at this is on the form they filled out where it asked for one's principle residences and only three got it wrong, so, either they knew very well what they were doing or they are so stupid they shouldn't be senators!!! IF there was any doubt about the question, couldn't they have asked????? Duffy has lived in Ottawa for many years , so he out right lied but if you are a dear friend of this PM, you get help. Is Harper and his gang going to come to the aid of any other Tory senators?? All three should be kick out but Harper would probably appoint them back along with the Tory lose in Labrador.
