  1. Or, it could be an attempt to keep the vast majority of us in Alberta employeed. We've been dodging the Liberals for years, if this helps, I'm for it.
  2. crybaby um, ok then Buy the way, it wasn't my god that came to this land. never assume. And I won't be buying your book
  3. Well said
  4. The problem is that we shouldn't be sending kids to daycare. We should be raising them ourselves and we should be able to do so on one income. 50 years ago, you could do just that and live quite well, now, its a struggle for a lot of poeple with two incomes. How a truck is worth $60000 I don't know. How a house is worth $350000, is insane. To me, we should be finding out how we can get back to one person working and one person staying at home instead of throwning money at something that in my opinion only serves to further degrade our society.
  5. Ok Crybabykm, lets check our your reply. So it doesn't seem to be working I say. You reply with useless banter that only proves me right. So, do you want to be part of the problem or part of the solution? I talk of favoritism, you go on about how white's don't want it or wont' accept it. Let me tell you very quickly that I work along side and have buddies that are doing exactly what you say can't be done. Again, you are part of the problem, or rather your attitude is. Would it be sooo bad to be Canadian? You again go off on a useless rant. Yes there are white blonde's married to Indians, to think otherwise is nothing more than stupidity. And yes there are blonde Indians, my Mikmak buddy married a cree woman with scotish heritage and she gave birth to two very blonde, very attractive blonde Indians. Genetic throwback, you bet, but once agian, your wrong. Now, to call me an immigrant is assinine. Indians came here across a land bridge a long time ago and therefore immigrated to North America. Indian people's are therefore not Native. First nations, sure, but not native, so again, you show your looking more for a raised blood pressure than an actual conversation. What would you have to gain. Well, you actually bring up a few good points in this part, bravo. Mismanagement is huge and everybody knows it. Maybe most dont know who or why the money is mismanaged but this actually sheds some light on a topic. Too bad you destroy your statement with an attempt to anger people by using "pink" as a descripiton of white people. I mean really, do you think you are gaining anything with such a juvinile act. Canadians and Indians blame. Blame is a good word in this case and I believe used correctly. Yes, I will even agree with you that most Canadians are less than willing to do research on topics, but pawns may be a little strong. If you want to leave this land, then by all means go. I belive you to be detremental to your own cause and therefore exactly what we as Canadians do not want here. I know many Indians who would love to see you go as well.
  6. Borg does make a few interesting points. I would suggest that perhaps we as Canadians can't deport those that have a citizenship, but if any of the individuals involved in this or any other type of criminal behaviour are still in the process of becoming a citizen or are here visiting, they should be deported immediatley as they do not represent what we want as immigrants to this land. Citizens involved in such acts should be thrown in jail for a term. Fairly simple. However, I belive the length of the terms served currently are not enough to stop criminal intent.
  7. Ya, problem is, that doesn't seem to be working out. Or is it just me? If there was no favoritism, neither side could complane. I mean, really, would it be soooo bad to be a Canadian. Look at what the entire country would have to gain on both sides. I dunno, maybe Canadians are happy having a group they can always complain about and First Nations are happy having a group they can always blame.
  8. Here's an idea. In order to have a little piece, lets make everybody that has lived here there entire life a citizen of Canada. We all pay our fair share and we all get a shot at the same standard of living, the same education, etc etc. We would all then have a reason to get up in the morining. PS - yes I know there are first nations people that do that now, I call a number of them friend.
  9. If there's no work where you live, then leave. I did. How a person lives is entirely up to them. You can stay in a spot with no work or you can do as the NFLDers and many others have done, come to where the work is. Some move, some don't, but the result is the same. They get money in there pockets and take care of there families. Is it an easy thing to do? No. But whats better, Daddy being home or daddy taking care of business. When it comes down to it, you have to feed your family and that may mean sacrifice. Its different for every person or family out there but me, I'd rather see my family with full stomachs and a decent education. At least I can say I did what I could. If I'd have stayed with no work, sure I would have seen more of the family but at what cost. Sorry, you can't do sports, sorry you can't have nice clothes, sorry you have to eat mac and cheese again. Bottom line, its not up to the provinces to keep people working, its up to the individual to take care of him/her self.
  10. I don't believe Indians are native to this land as the scientific evidence proves there people came across a land bridge from what is now Russia to what is now the US. Therefore, any "Indian" may be called a "First Nations" but not a "Native" or "Aboriginal". No Indian residing on this piece of earth we can Canada has any more right to it than I. All our ancestors came from another place no matter what colour or religion you may be.
